We flew in early and reached the hotel at 10.00 am but were not allowed to checked in until it was 2.00 pm eventhough our booking and the hotel's website say that the check-in time was 12.00 pm.
Location was excellent and it is just a 3 min walk to the metro and RER station Bibliotheque Francois Mitterand. From there, it is conveniently connected to Central Paris within 10 ride with either RER and Metro.
The hotel has been refurbished and looks modern. It is clean and comfortable. Please try to get the rooms facing the courtyard and it is quiet and peaceful and you could even hear birds chirping around the trees and bushes. The room is small but ok for us. However, the bathroom is very small and you could even close the toilet when you sit on the WC. As for the shower, you need to climb into the small cubicle next to it. There is a enclosed kitchen suite where you can use the heating pan, microwave oven and ample cutleries for use. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable in it as it was just clean and refreshing when you open the windows to the courtyard. In addition, free excellent WI-Fi.
Location around the vicinity is excellent and you will feel safe. Once you step out from the hotel, on your right, within 5 mins walk, you will reach modern office buildings which house MNC like Accenture, Sanofi, Beiersdorf etc. There is a Starbucks, large Monoprix and few good restaurants. There is also a cinema.
On the left of the hotel, within walking distance are good cafes where you get your croissants, bagguette, pastas, groceries like Petit Casino etc. A very good neighbourhood where middle class Parisians stay.
