Last year there were 16 strikes by the chamber-maids according to a report I found in google. I was there one week last October and when I came back from work one day and found my bed unmade, my room not cleaned and the towels as I had left them in the bathroom. There was NO communication from the management and no appologies.
I am staying there again this week and now there is a strike of the bar and restaurant staff. The bar and restaurants are closed, the queue for breakfast this morning was enormous. I had to queue for more than 10 minutes just to get into breakfast. As usual the management is invisible.
Another bad thing is that if you are sleeping in a double bed it is covered by 2 single duvets not a double and invariably you become uncovered in the night.

Overall I had a great stay.

It stuck me as a nice business hotel, which I think is the hotels target customer. Before I checked in, I had anticipated more 'romance', as it was my first time visiting Paris. The rooms were nice enough but a little stark.

The food at the hotel was overpriced and definitely did not cater to continental palate. If you love tiny portions, please do not hesitate to dine there. However, the food is nothing spectacular.

I loved the hotel because of the area it was located. It was central, clean, and quiet. It also didn't hurt that the Metro had a major station just a short walk from the hotel.

The Concorde Montparnasse is a pretty decent business hotel located right next to the Gare Montparnasse and very near the Montparnasse Tower. It is a huge hotel with spacious rooms. We needed to have our key card reset every day, not sure why. Also, the TV remote didn't work if you were more than about three feet away from the TV. Other that, no complaints really. Very nice breakfast with efficient service. Easy access to a couple different metro stations. Comfortable beds. I had a good business stay.

The location was within easy reach of the metro and shuttle bus. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quite a good size for Paris. The breakfast was good, although as in many hotels it was difficult to get hot tea.
Internet wifi very poor, no signal or bad signal. No restaurant and cheap breakfast. Ridiculously expensive drinks in the bar. No refrigerator in the room.
