Stolen money! This is a small hotel in a good location. The hotel doesn't offer anything extra but is in a great location near restaurants and a street market as well as the very famous shopping street. The rooms are clean although looking out my window at the rear of the building on level one to see a used panty liner was not a nice welcome. Very concerning that you are made to leave your room key with reception when you go out. This hotel withdrew two separate amounts from my account in error a few days after we left the hotel and we had paid final balance in cash upon departure. I have been unsuccessful in getting this 160 euro back and have not had any further response from the hotel. I will continue to follow this up and will keep everyone on trip advisor up to date!

Stayed here for the weekend and can't believe some of the poor reviews here. We had a room on the 4th floor which, whilst small, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We even had a small balcony looking over an internal courtyard - no view as such but still a nice thing to have. The immediately surrounding area was great, it was not overly touristy and had a fantastic food market and other shops round about. We spent many an hour people watching in nearby bars. The staff were friendly and we had no problem leaving our luggage for the whole day on the day we were leaving.

Overall I thought this was a perfectly nice hotel, reasonable value for money and in a good spot.

Situated near the Ternes metro station, the hotel is in a great neighbourhood, walkable to the Arc de Triumph and with a bustling market in the narrow streets nearby, plus various restaurants and bars nearby. Despite this, it's perfectly quiet at night.

The hotel is small but quite smart-looking, with friendly staff (though you may have to try out your school French to be understood !). Our room was right next to the lobby, but not at all noisy. Beds comfortable, room reasonably spacious and perfectly clean. Only real complaints were about the lack of a shower curtain/glass panel and of tea-making equipment (a common failing on the continent, regrettably).

we spent 8 nights there, or you can say Nightmares.
i was on vacation with my mother, and we stayed in this hotel because most of the hotels were fully booked, the room was extremely small. bedding and pillows are very dirty, i couldn't sleep on it, so i brought my own blanket and pillow cover, service is very bad, they change the bed covers whenever you shout in the reception.
bathroom ceiling was dropping water! you can't sit on the toilet because the water will drop on your head! and reception will not do anything about that! they closed the Air Condition, they said it's cold outside so open the windows!!!!!
and i will not to forget the breakfast experience with the unfriendly staff and the noises they make while eating!! it was the most disgusting and dirty hotel i have ever seen!!
reception are very rude, one of the guys told us when complaining about the bathroom dropping water, he said if you don't like this hotel go and search for another one!!!!
if you want to have disaster vacation, recommend only Niel Hotel!!!!
