I book this hotel for 4 night last nov.26-30 and it's the worst time of my vacation. The location is very good if your using the train but it's not good enough to stay. Very dirty ,the room is very small smell molds , wall paint is chipping and worst part is the pillow smell old and filthy I would not recommend this hotel to my family and friends . I will rate this hotel -1 star.

Just spent 3 nights in this hotel and it was basic but did the job. Good location, clean rooms albeit a coat of paint would not go amiss. Good heating and surprisingly quiet seeing as we overlooked a busy road. Would stay again if we were on the same budget. My wife doesnt totally agree with this review but she didnt have to pay for a hotel.

I am sitting here at home with over 75 bed bug bites that look terrible and itch like crazy. I spent one night at this hotel, which was dingy and badly maintained but nevertheless apparently OK for a single night when passing through Paris. My shock came when I woke up at 05:30 to catch the Eurostar from Gare du Nord and I looked at the bed - 7 to 8 bugs were crawling over the sheets. I killed one and a blood stain spread out - I realised they must be bed bugs!!
Apart from the disgust, I have never experienced such inconvenience. When I was on the Eurostar I pulled some papers out of my bag and guess what, a bed bug crawled over the top! I killed it. But I realised I couldn't get in my car for risk of infestation - these things live for a year without food so can infest pretty much any location including cars. I had to go home, strip and put all my non-washable clothes in sealed bags for dry cleaning. We had to wash all my clothes at above 45 Celcius including my rucksack. I still don't know what to do with my boots. The problem is that the bedbugs lay eggs in crevices and it is very difficult to be sure you have eliminated them. If you don't kill them all you risk one of them hatching and infesting your own home. After that you could spend thousands trying to eradicate them, if ever . . .
This hotel owes me a full rebate and I hope that no-one else is subject to the same horror, pain and inconvenience that I have experienced. Never stay here . . . ever . . .

Location (opposite Gare du Nord) was the main reason for choosing this hotel. Having read previous reviews I had some doubts. However, when we got there I was very pleasantly surprised. The reception staff were friendly and helpful answering all our questions and offering the wifi code unprompted. Although basic, the room wasn't too small and the shower room was surprisingly large. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. A good budget hotel in a great location.
