We stayed 5 nights here. Our room was basic, two single beds and a small bathroom. It was pretty decent, very clean, and the staff speak english and are very helpful and friendly. Its located in a very quiet neighborhood and is just a short walk from the metro. The only complaint I have is that there's no A/C, which is an absolute killer in summer. I would avoid this hotel during hotter months! But apart from that, this is a good hotel for the price. I would stay here again, just not in July lol.

Like most of the previous reviews the hotel is in a good location. The metro is only 300m away so getting into the heart of Paris is no problem. There is a hospital, couple of bars and cake shops close by, but not much else.
The room was tiny. I personally didn't get much sleep because the walls seem to be paper thin. You can hear everything people are doing, watching TV, using the bathroom, getting home late. It's such a noisy hotel!
The breakfast was basic, just fruit, or croissants. A choice of coffee or orage juice to drink. One day the drinks machines broke down (both of them), but the staff weren't to bothered, so no drinks for anyone.
The receptionists were very friendly and helpful I have to say, but they need to put more than one staff member on the desk at one time. There was always a que for reception.
There is free wifi for half an hour a day.

Writing this review because of a commendable counter staff - her name is Vanessa. She is soft-spoken and exceptionally helpful, she never fail to greet you with a simple smile and often provide spot-on details on getting you to the right location (5-Stars Service for this young & enthusiastic lady)

This is a basic and no-frills hotel. IMO, the room is ok, nothing fanciful but a plus for traveler with tight budget. 2 Metro (Covisart & Les Gobelins) is about 10-15 min away on foot to get you around Paris easily. Hotel located in a quiet residential estate with decent cafes, bakery and small food shops, you can get more food varieties if you walk abit further to Place d'Italie where Metro Gobelins is located. Interesting, you'll get to pass by school along the way to Covisart and experience the local kids way of life in the morning and evening. Happen to bump into a street-market (make shift store selling groceries and local food on Saturday during my stay near Covisart. Overall, the walk around this area is easy and safe after some map orientation.

My first thought was "you have to be kidding me". The staff was particularly unhelpful, nothing at the hotel was like the photos on Expedia, the rooms tiny, filthy and poorly equipped, in desparate need not so much of a deep cleaning but of replacement, the amenities virtually non-existent (and TVs that barely show a handful of channels) and the location is inconvenient. We spent the most unpleasant night ever and checked the next morning into another hotel. WE MADE RESERVATIONS HERE IN RELIANCE OF THE IMAGES SHOWN AND THE NAME APARTHOTEL BUT THIS PROPERTY HAS NO SUCH THING AS APARTMENTS and the staff very rudely suggested that if we wanted that kind of service we should have checked into a "better" hotel. Stay here if you like to suffer.
