Great location, nice service, very clean. A little bit noisy...but it's Paris!
Would go again and would recommend to friends with limited budget.

I stayed 2 nights here, and the location is great. The hotel is on a quiet little side street on the edge of the Marais district, and the Arts et Metiers metro station is only a stone's throw away. The hotel isn't trendy or chic, but it has a fun and funky vibe. The staff were OK - at least they spoke enough English to help me out (my French is horrible). You leave your key with them whenever you leave, but the desk is manned 24/7. My room on the 3rd floor was very clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. There's an American electrical outlet in the bathroom, which charged my iPhone just fine without an adapter. Even in November it was fairly warm in Paris, so I opened the large casement window and let in a nice breeze. I didn't eat breakfast there, so I can't report on that. The only caution: The staircase is a dizzy spiral (see my photo) and wouldn't be good for those with limited mobility. Also don't drink too much wine at dinner and try to navigate it!!

This small quiet hotel is a real find. Location in the heart of the city on a side street but less than 25 meters to the metro The rooms are not large but they are adequate with up to date bathrooms and aminities that include mini-fridge, flat screen TVs with multi language offerings and reliable in room wi-fi. The knowledgeable and friendly staff recommended local restaruants that served both delicious and reasonably priced meals. Although I arrived mid-morning, well before check-in time the staff made and extra effort to provide a room which was ready by 10am. There was someone at the desk no matter what time we departed or arrived and the room was always cleaned upon our return. There is a lift that works fine and can accommodate two with a reasonable amount of luggage. (we had two carry-ons and two backpacks). Would definitely stay there again.

stayed at Ecole Centrale hotel in Paris for 4 nights. good central location with a metro line right outside the door. many restaurants close by, easy walk to several museums. staff were pleasant and helpful. room was comfortable, quiet if I kept the window closed. the room was clean, mattress comfortable. opted out of the breakfast. would stay here again, no complaints. they even helped us with getting a taxi to our next destination.
