We usually stay at the Regina but it has gotten very pricey. A few blocks away is this perfectly lovely hotel which is much more intimate and friendly. Jerome and Jean-Charles at the front desk are both helpful and extremely pleasant. They booked our restaurant reservations and assisted in a number of other ways. We adored our room, which was spacious and charming, and we always felt happy returning to this quaint, personable oasis during our three day stay in Paris.

Great location, near Opera, Tuilleries, the Louvre, Orsay, Grands Boulevards... and that means suitable for walking Paris with children. We stayed in the suite 502, very cosy and well maintained, lovely space suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Reasonable prices for its characteristics.
Do not try breakfast (you should take it in the room and it is not anything special), there are better places at walking distance (including Angelina).

Location is excellent: can walk to so many top spots; two metro stops close by; and an upscale neighborhood. The staff is truly interested in making your stay a success. All three Concierges are knowledgable, gracious, and friendly. My 40 year old daughter and her 14 years son were there for five of my seven days. Became like our home. IF trying to locate on a map, hotel is a very short block west of the church Saint-Roche, on the NW corner of rue de la Sourdiere..

Our second visit and we would come back again. The hotel is small and charming, the staff helpful and friendly and the location is perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious and well appointed with good storage. Plenty of eating options are close by - Pains et Plaisirs for morning coffee with the Parisians, deli-cafes for lunch, and restaurants for dinner in rue Marche St Honore 200m along the street. An 8 a huit market is ooposite. Shopping in this area is fantastic. Lots of sightseeing and galleries within walking distance and two metros close by. The hotel staff are easy to communicate with by email for booking and information.
