Very convenient location with walking distance to subway and RER station, a lot of really nice French restaurant near by, McDonalds and Starbacks are minutes from the hotel, good supermarket within walking distance. Clean and neat rooms. Extremely friendly and nice people work in this hotel. Unfortunately, we visited Paris in "peak" time and price was little bit higher than we initially planned. However, I think it's normal for Paris. So, I would definitely stay there next time.

As with another reviewer, I don't really understand all the glowing reviews! It was adequate, but there were too many irks for us to recommend the hotel to others.

Good things: close to Metro, and an okay walk to things like the Latin Quarter. However, a lot of tourist destinations require two changes of Metro.

Our irks:
- the older gentlemen that sometimes works the evening shift got a bit moody (with us?) at times.
- needed to request for hot water when we wanted to make tea.
- moody cleaning ladies who will make you leave the room by 10am!
- slow and not free wifi shared between everyone (we got it for free instead of the 8 euros for 5+ days)
- 120 euros/day for a two star hotel is too much.

We ended up in a "courtyard-facing" room (on the sixth floor, that means near the kitchen exhaust). So be sure to **ask for a street-facing room.**

I stayed in a single room for 3 nights while traveling to Paris. The hotel was nothing fancy, but perfect for what I was looking for: an inexpensive, clean hotel in a safe area close to Paris sites. The hotel was about a block away from the Metro and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants in the Latin Quarter.

Just spent 10 nights here on a work trip. I like the hotel. It's a little basic and the rooms are plain, but the location is great and the staff are extremely friendly. They are planning to redecorate in early 2011 and to install A/C, which will be a plus in the summer months.
