Caught a last-minute special on Jetsetter and was not disappointed at all! The hotel is fun and funky and if you've ever stayed in a boutique hotel in any major city you know what to expect in terms of size, but compared to some others we've stayed in, the room was laid out quite nicely and never felt crowded. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to offer assistance or advice. And the location just can't be beaten -- you can, literally, walk anywhere you want to go from here! Now I'm just wondering how I can get Christian Lacroix to make me some wall coverings like in the room -- talk about fun! Hotel le Bellechasse is definitely worth a stay!

The hotel looked much better in the picture than in reality. it is definitely overpriced.The biggest disadvantage is the size of the rooms.I am a small person but the room was so small that even I felt a lack of space. The biggest advantage is the position of the hotel.The district is very nice and charming. There are nice bars, restaurants and shops nearby.And there are a lot of sightseeing places within the walking distance.The metro station is only 3 minutes away.

Stayed at this boutique hotel for 4 nights. This really hip hotel is well situated just a few steps from the Musee de Orsay, the Banks of the Seine and the beautiful gardens( can walk across to get to right bank). There are two Metro stations in close vicinity to the hotel, so once you have mastered the subway maps- it is really easy to get around. The hotel itself is small, compact and cozy . Rooms have been decorated by Christian Lacroix and are individually very interesting,modern and trendy but bit small.The lighting is not great, so bit difficult to read a book at night. We had one breakfast which was really good. There are plenty of cafes and restuarants in the area, so you never have to venture too far to find a snack or a good meal. I would definately recommend this hotel- and would return on my next trip to Paris.

Spent Valentines day weekend here. Was mostly compelled to stay due to two factors: 1) the location and 2) the design by Lacroix.

I work in fashion, and am in general quite aesthetically-sensitive, so on this front the Bellechasse certainly did not disappoint! High design quality aside, the rooms are remarkably tiny, and for our room in particular the windows were not the typical Parisian height of some of the other rooms, but were rather small. Nonetheless, overall the stay was fantastic.

One concierge was always remarkably helpful at arranging for dinner reservations on probably one of the most difficult weekends to do so in Paris. (He even could advise on how to get into Le Chateaubriand for dinner, despite them not taking reservations!) While the other concierge actually seemed quite lazy. Reception was generally friendly and helpful.

Would recommend to those who bask in high design.
