The hotel is modern and well decorated and the staff are friendly. Our room was nicely appointed, very clean (spotless) with a really comfortable bed and pillows and a good power shower in the bathroom. The location is in a nice area close to lots of cafe's. If you get off at the nearest metro stop at Poisonierre, it is a just short walking distance to the Rue d'Hauteville where the hotel is located. It is worth noting that the hotel is now painted grey and not red as shown on their website which threw us a bit when looking for it. We always ate out for breakfast so couldn't comment on the hotel's food. The room is on the small side as are most hotels in Paris but it didn't feel cramped and the room was so nice it made up for it.
Got a 3 day metro pass for 20 euros each, which was good value although we did a lot of walking during the daytime from one district to another eg. from the hotel to Montparnasse near Notre Dame, then up to Champees Elysee/Arc de Triomphe so comfortable shoes are a must!
We stayed for 3 nights in January and the room was very warm at night - not sure if the heating was on but there was no air con in the room so we had the window wide open each night which made the room temperature fine. Otherwise a perfect stay with nothing to complain about!
