We went to Hotel Beausejour Monmatre in January 2011 for a long weekend away. As per, we looked at TripAdvisor before we went and were somewhat worried as to what we would find. We could not have been so far off! The hotel reception was great, clean and more importantly got greeted by a courteous and friendly woman. Checked us in no problem, and took us to our room. We thought we might be in a terrible room having seen some photos, however the hotel is obviosuly being looked after, and were given one of the rooms that had been redecorated to a good standard. The bathroom was on the small side - but hey is'nt everyone fighting for space in Paris!

We had breakfast on our last morning - and wished we ate there during our whole stay now. There was a wide selction to choose from, and the breakfast assistant could not have been more attentive.

The hotel is about 20-25 mins from Champs Elyees, and 10-15 from the Sacre Coure Church.

Would definatly stay here again - and if in doubt about the rooms, call in advance and ask for room 44.

We stayed there during xmas period. It is a nice hotel -don't get me wrong- but the rooms are extremely small, bathroom is quite old and elevator can just handle 2 people. Nevertheless, it is really clean and very close to Montmartre and steps away from the tube station (Place de Clichy). I would recommend it for maximum 2 nights, if you just want a place to rest your feet in the night.

What really pissed me off though was their website that shows some really nice rooms. Let me warn you that this is completely MISLEADING. Better give them a call and find out what room they can get you, rather than booking online without knowing if you will be staying in an 'old' room or a new room. BE AWARE! I am totally aware of marketing techniques, but demonstrating a room online and giving a totally different room to the customer is truly unacceptable.

We booked 2 rooms in Beausejour Montmartre hotel for 3 nights each. It is located next to Place de Clichy metro station and it is close to Moulin Rouge. A few minutes walk from many bistros, bracherries and other stores, is a very convinient base to explore Paris. The rooms were very clean,cozy, warm and quite enough. WiFi internet access was provided in all rooms and in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. There is a warm and elegant lobby where you can have a coffee or a drink, and a beautiful garden which unfortunately didn´t use as it was snowing all the time. I will sure visit Paris again and Beausejour Montmartre is the hotel that i will choose again for my staying there.

This hotel is terrible- during my stay the elevator/internet/heating all did not work. The worst part is one of their front desk persons was so rude- he actually told me he has not had his morning coffee so he did not want to help and then he told me he was the owner which was not true.

Please do not stay here. If you stay in this hotel do not say I never warn you. You will get a much better service and room condition elsewhere. I checked out the surrounding hotels they are friendlier/newer/better rates.

I only would recommend this hotel to my enemy
