I stayed here on business and have used many hotels over the past few months. This is the most expesnive area in Paris (1er). They are doing a LOT of work to modernise hotel - lobby is welcoming and FREE Wi-fi is a bonus. I would also miss hotel breakfast as its much cheaper to it out & yep there's a Starbucks just around the corner !

I only stayed 1 night - Queen bed - good for 1 but 2 may be a squeeze.Courtyard view rooms were quiet - makes a change for Paris.

I visited this hotel in December with a girlfriend - we both really liked the hotel! The rooms are small and quaint, the lobby is very nice, and was nicely decorated due to the Holiday season. The evening staff in the hotel were very helpful with extra covers and recoms for restaurants near and far.

The hotel is somewhat pricey for what you get (compared to many other cities) but in Paris this is likely what you have to pay.

I didnt eat the breakfast which is served in the basement, by all means, go OUT and about to have your breakfast.

Hotel is located where there are 20 Japanese eateries, so if that takes your fancy, by all means go there! Again, you are close to many other good places (and the metro) so easy to get around.

rooms are a bit tired and would need to be refreshed; there was no service at all in the evening - i asked for a blanket upon returning from diner at 23.00 and was told that I could not get it as the housekeeping was not available at that time. friendly front desk staff however and competitive rates - but in the end not worth more.

For the price, I thought this was a lovely hotel. Tastefully furnished room, a bit on the small size, but looking out to a little courtyard with plenty of light. The reception was small but inviting with couches and a self service bar. It's really central, and the staff were helpful with directions and advice. If you don't want to stay in a big chain hotel and prefer something a little more personal, this is the one for you. Only downside was the soundproofing between rooms - I could hear the person in the next room having a shower.
