Horrible!! Bad Food! Bad Service! Very rude staff! Rooms are very small and noisey!!!

Do yourself a huge favor go to another hotel!!!

Before I book a hotel in Paris. I do a lot of survey, a hotel with good locations and reasonable prices. As I was travelling with a group of friends from Malaysia which is their first trip to Paris I wanted to give them a unforgetable and a memorable experience. When I saw the good feedback from the guest of Hotel De La Paix, I would like to give it a try to see myself. What a surprise, it was true. It just a few leisure walks to reach Eiffel Tower.The hotel is clean and tidy, the breakfast was pleasant and the front desk receptionist Miss Elly is excellent friendly. She is so good, well spoken in english and very helpful. Is lucky to have her as a PR in this hotel.The boss of this hotel should give her a pay rise and praise. I definitely will come back to stay in this hotel when I go to Paris. My friends were so pleasant of the stay and praise of my good choice.

After reading all the reviews, I didn't know exactly what to expect from Hotel de la Paix Tour Eiffel. When I arrived there on the 18th November, 2011, I was very pleased with what I found. My single room was a bit small, but taking into consideration this is Paris, this came as no great schock ... The furniture was new, the room was nicely decorated and very clean. My only complaint is about the shower ... nearly the size of a coffin. Friendly staff at the reception. I paid 89 euros/night and all in all I can say I've had a good experience there. If you want a basic, clean and well located hotel, you should consider this place. If you don't mind paying 45 euros more per night, I'd advise you to book the Hotel de l'Empereur (2 Rue Chevert) in the same arrondissement - its rooms and bathrooms are much bigger.

We rented an apartment in the neighborhood of this hotel where there were two other hotels very close by. Of the three, this hotel seemed to offer the best value. The lobby was in excellent condition and the receptionist very helpful. Should we visit Paris for a short visit (instead of a week or longer), I would choose to stay at this hotel, even if the rooms are small. The location with easy walking access to the Eiffel Tower with the Batobus stop, a slightly longer but very pleasant walk to Les Invalides and the Rodin Museum, and easy access to the Ecole Militaire metro stop and the Bus 69 stop on Rue Grenelle are great benefits. The food shops and restaurants are abundant with choices from excellent pizza to Chinese buffet, to the Christian Constant restaurants (his Cafe, Cocottes, and Violin d'Ingres) on Rue St. Dominique, FL restaurant, and Rue Cler cafes and shops make it an ideal location.
