Sorrry for late reveiw. Stayed at above hotel in early August 2011. The hotel is in a great location and we were unable to fault it or the staff. I must be a heavy sleeper or due to the amount of walking we did around Paris we did not experience the noise that a lot of contributors have had concerns.We were on the fourth floor so this may have assisted.Our room was large in comparison to modern hotels and was decorated in a French style that made the experience more favourable. Was walking distance to most attractions. ATM about 2 minutes walk towards Blvd St Micheal. Plenty of restaurants and bars in area .Hint: stop your walking at around 5 and find a bar, sit outside with a drink and enjoy the streetscape.

So here's the scoop....You want to sleep? This place is NOT for you. As mentioned by many reviewers, the walls between the rooms are paper thin and conversations/television/slamming doors etc are an ongoing issue. In addition, this is a super active area with a rocking night life. And yes, there are TWO Irish pubs below the hotel. There are only five floors within the hotel. The staff is great. The location is great. And this place is TINY. I bought a fan for my room, which helped considerably. However, how great for the staff to provide guests with fans upon request - which they don't. The a/c system is whisper soft. Not appropriate for children or honeymooners looking for privacy....

Superb location for walking to museums, Latin Quarter, and a very friendly neighborhood. Service was generally friendly, knowledgeable and personable, English no problem. Weekend cleaning service was limited, but rooms were clean and fresh. Overall great value. Noise can be a problem on lower floors -- there's an Irish pub next door, enough said!

We stayed here at the recommendation of my sister and her husband who stay here each year for business and we are thrilled we did.
The welcome from the (beautiful!) receptionists and the rooms are a highlight. The rooms are very large and have lovely decor making you really feel you are in France, yes the lighting is dim and moody but you are in an individual hotel not a mass chain hotel! We loved it!
The location is ideal as you really do have Paris on your doorstep and can walk to everything. Laduree is just up the road for an amazing breakfast experience as well as for your daily macaroons fix!
The noise was no problem, yes you can hear street noise but you are in the middle of Paris! Ear plugs would solve this minor setback.
Stay here and you will not be disappointed!
