The location is great-near to metro station with many sublines,the hotel is just a 2 star hotel,this says everything.A little bit expensive for what it offers.

The best part about the hotel is it is central, very close to the metro and not too far from Gare Du Nord Station. Thats about it. The elevator was the smallest one I have ever seen in my life. The room was downstairs with the window opening to the area in between the buildings where the big pipes are. The room was small and it was unbearably hot and we had to keep the window open , it was cooler outside. We stayed only for a night and cancelled the rest of the 6 days and stayed elsewhere.

The hotel is in a good spot. It's near the metro, within walking distance of Chatelet and has good little restaurants and cafes nearby. Just one warning re the metro - most of the exits take you out onto nice streets but there was one that takes you through a park where all the tramps/homeless are and if you are a woman on your own it can be a bit intimidating.
There were three adults sharing the room which was a reasonable size. There was no aircon so it was a tad hot at times and as some of the rooms overlook the main street it is quite noisy with the windows open.
The bathroom had a good shower (over the bath).
We paid about 110 Euros between us per night so I think it wasn't bad value for money.
My only qualm is that the room wasn't quite clean enough.
If you just want to put your head down at the end of the night and get a sleep, then this hotel will meet your needs.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are way better hotels in Paris, for the same price.

We won't complain about the usual Parisian hotel problems - small rooms, old-fashioned furniture, bad beds - this hotel's got them all. But take into account that it's next to an incredibly busy boulevard (even at night, actually especially at night) and that the rooms are hot - while it wasn't even that warm outside during our stay. There's no A/C, so a good night's rest is not guaranteed.

The service was, in our experience, terrible. We paid up front for three breakfasts. The second morning, however, the guy at the front desk informed us he hadn't breakfast ready (although the breakfast hour was well underway) and would go out to fetch it. We waited for 15 minutes, and then he came back and declared "uh... sorry, no breakfast today... didn't find it". He "didn't find it"?! We got no compensation or anything, and when we left the hotel, we found a bakery within 100 meters of the doorstep.
