This is a review for 'Hotel de l'Exposition - Republique'. I say this because some reviews say it is a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. They must be reviewing a different hotel. This one is not far from Gare du Nord. The reviews that say it is dirty and disgusting must also be talking about some other hotel too. This one was clean and comfortable. The shower and beds were fine. Our room had a window into a kind of well so we were able to have it open slightly during the night with no noise - but of course no view.
