I would like to share our experience of this Hotel
Having booked this Hotel for its location rather than its 2 star rating we were not expecting the Ritz. On booking into the Hotel and viewing our room although a little on the small size we thought it was adequate for our 3 night stay.
On returning to the hotel on the evening of our second day which would be our third night we were told very abruptly and arrogantly by the receptionist that our room had been changed, after a heated conversation the receptionist attitude was, it is done and that is that!, incidentally my partner speaks perfect French.
We were told the reason for this was that other new guests did not like the room they had been given and as they would be staying for 6 nights they decided to give them our room and move us to their allocated room, we found this room much inferior to our previous room.
What disgusted us was that in our absence they never considered us and just bundled up our personnel belongings into our cases and stacked them on top of one another in the other room, we thought this behaviour repulsive as someone had handled many of our intimate personnel belongings.
We are hardened traveller and have never experienced this unacceptable behaviour before.
So be warned when booking, it could happen to you!
