This is a very good hotel for tourists to Paris. It's a 10-minute walk from Republique Metro station, in a nice neighborhood with shops, cafes, restaurants and bakeries. Hotel is clean, safe and has 24-hr desk clerk. Rooms are small, but very comfortable. No A/C, but open windows let in cool night air. Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is small, as are the rooms. Excellent location where everything is convenient. The staff are pleasant. The only negatives a) the soundproofing. I had a noisy group staying next door and the doors kept banging until 2am and b) the shower was TINY, I would recommend staying there provided you have your ear plugs handy - I had read previous reviews and taken mine along! No restaurants other than the breakfast area but plenty in the neighbourhood. TV needs more channels in other languages. Excellent (free) wi-fi.

Excelent location in Marais,clean,staff very polite ,owners always available to help,lovely"cave" for breakfast.
Near to the metro,that takes you wherever you want,but honestly,Marais is the poit in now,where everything happens.
Bistros,boutiques,shops,and beautiful people around.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a basic, clean, well-located hotel for a short stay and the price is excellent for such a central location. Don't be put off by it only two star; I have stayed in hotels with higher ratings that I wouldn't recommend as highly.

Our twin room was very small but clean and tidy, with two single beds (pushed together but made up separately), a wardrobe and a small desk. There were two spare pillows, which we used as the ones on the bed were "roll" style and not terribly comfortable. No tea and coffee faciltiies in the room, but plastic cups provided in the bathroom and a hot drink and snack machine in the foyer.

The bathroom was also very small but, again, clean and tidy. No toiletries provided other than soap. The small, built-in hairdryer in the bathroom did the job, but you had to continually hold a button down to keep it going, which became uncomfortable after a time. A minor inconvenience was the over-bath shower. There was no bracket on the wall for the shower head, so you had to hold it yourself, picking it up and putting it down as you wash. Not a big deal for only two nights, but may get annoying if you were staying longer. Clean towels provided daily, but no bath mat or flannels/face cloths.

The hotel is situated in the busy, historical Le Marais district and there are lots of cafes, restaurants, museums and boutiques in short walking distance. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the Republique Metro station. Although it is a busy area, the hotel is very quiet even with the window left open. We also found it ideally located for walking to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Latin Quarter (all about 20 to 30 minutes), and even the Eiffel Tower (about an hour's walk).

The desk staff were polite and spoke fairly good English. They were helpful when we arranged a taxi for early morning pick up and handled check-in and check-out quickly and efficiently.

Didn't have the hotel breakfast so can't comment on that, but there are plenty of cafes and bakeries nearby.

I would definitely stay again and have already recommended to a friend.
