My husband and I have just returned from a shoert trip to paris, where we stayed at the Fenelon. Its location is very good, you basically turn hard right out of the metro Cadet, then first left, walk to you see the "Bar Rouge" pub an turn left again.Well that the directions now for the accomodation. The room we had was quite large with a large bathroom, the bath was very deep and a real treat compared to home. I have read other reviews for this hotel some saying it was a real dump but apart frome minor decorative glitches- ok it is not a homoganized ibis type, but is that what you want in paris, it was lit romantically and was a calm oasis. the breakfast was nice-fresh croissants, pan au chocolat, and good coffe and green tea, beautiful french butter, honey and jam- an absolute delight. the staff were as helpful and friendly as could be. You could pay a cheaper price elsewhere but you might be taking a chance- we would return, oh and a 15 minute walk from the moulin roouge- 20 minutes from the monmatre or about a minute on the Metro!
