“Exceeded expectations - on all counts...”

This hotel is much better value than many of the more "up market" establishments in this so...very pricey city of Paris. These are some of the reasons that make it a winner:

Location: Just around the corner (directly behind) the Galleries Lafayette. Surrounded
by a great number of food outlets - from cafes to Macdonalds. There's also
the wonderful gourmet food section at GL. Great for families and business
travellers. Metro and Bus stops just steps away.
Tip: If you're a first-time visitor - learn to use the metro and/or buses.

Price: What you get for the price is outstanding value in this city.
Tip: get the continental breakfast package. Quality is excellent & good value.

Rooms: On the whole, fairly reasonable sizes for Paris. Ensuite bathrooms were
newly renovated, clean and well-stocked with towels and toiletries.

Staff: I can only priase the efforts of Lucienne, Luduvine and David to the extent
that I really have to say THANK YOU - in writing. The staff helped everyone
in my party through a couple of emergencies. Nothing, to them, was too
much effort or an imposition. All done with a smile.

While we were at the hotel, my husband was left by a tour bus at Versailles. On the same day, one of our tour members lost his wallet to a pick-pocket. All calls back to
Australian banks and to family members were done FREE of charge. This is SERVICE and genuine care for clients - at it's highest level. The Best Western Chain are extremely fortunate to have a hotel of this standard. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Contact the hotel direct - not through an agent

“very pleasant stay”

we came to Paris with my wife for a few days and were impressed by this hotel: location is perfect to go around shopping, and visit Paris - no need to take taxis or subways!
besides excellent value, good services, pleasant staff. My wife liked the cleanliness of the room and its decoration (good taste , she says..) - We both appreciated the quality of the french "petit dejeuner", allowing us to skip lunch (although if you could close breakfast time at noon instead of 11, it would still be better)..We strongly recommend this hotel.

“If you don't spend much time in your little room this is an excellent value and location”

Well appointed hotel - both lobby and rooms. The rooms are very small as are the showers but they are well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The location was great with easy access to metro, Gallerie Lafayette, and Printemps as well as the Opera
Friendly and helpful staff

“Perfectly located, clean and comfortable - will visit again”

We stayed here after arriving on a very long and very delayed flight from New York via Munich during which the airline conveniently managed to lose ALL our luggage. We caught the Roissybus from CDG airport and after being dropped off at L'Opera Garnier it was very simple to find the hotel (even without a street guide). The hotel location directly behind the Galerie Lafayettes is so convenient; and we found it to be very quiet.

We were greeted very cheerfully at reception and the check-in process was smooth. Our room was on the 2nd floor so we didn't bother with the lift much (it is indeed the tiniest lift we've ever been in!!)

Our room was slightly odd in that we had to go outside the hotel to get into it via a little private entry vestibule, but this probably helped with the privacy factor and was not a problem at all.

Having just stayed in a teeny tiny, noisy, over-heated hotel in New York with the smallest bathroom in the world this place felt positively spacious! Of course once our luggage arrived the room seemed a little smaller but was manageable.

The bed was a decent size, but quite firm. The tiny wardrobe was too close to the bed to make real use of other than for coats. The bathroom was well equipped with good pressure, plenty of hot water and towels, soap and shampoo and body wash in the shower. If you are into baths it was a decent size.

The breakfast cost 13 euro per person and was perfectly adequate with many breads, toast and spreads, cold meat and cheeses, boiled eggs, yoghurt and fruit. Juice, tea and coffee.

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and they took care of bookings such as for the Moulin Rouge.

We will definitely try and stay here again if we come to Paris.

“Great location, friendly service, great value for money, highly recommend.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2010

Set directly behind Galeries Lafayette, this hotel is great value for money. Very friendly
staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are very modern
and our room was on the third floor, which easily accessible if you don't like lifts. They
have a lovely bar area if you would like a quiet drink before you go out for a meal and
the staff will recommend restaurants if you are interested. We asked if they could
recommend a restaurant and were directed to a beautiful restaurant and given a free
glass of wine! Can't express strongly enough that this hotel is great value for the money.
