This hotel is much better value than many of the more "up market" establishments in this so...very pricey city of Paris. These are some of the reasons that make it a winner:
Location: Just around the corner (directly behind) the Galleries Lafayette. Surrounded
by a great number of food outlets - from cafes to Macdonalds. There's also
the wonderful gourmet food section at GL. Great for families and business
travellers. Metro and Bus stops just steps away.
Tip: If you're a first-time visitor - learn to use the metro and/or buses.
Price: What you get for the price is outstanding value in this city.
Tip: get the continental breakfast package. Quality is excellent & good value.
Rooms: On the whole, fairly reasonable sizes for Paris. Ensuite bathrooms were
newly renovated, clean and well-stocked with towels and toiletries.
Staff: I can only priase the efforts of Lucienne, Luduvine and David to the extent
that I really have to say THANK YOU - in writing. The staff helped everyone
in my party through a couple of emergencies. Nothing, to them, was too
much effort or an imposition. All done with a smile.
While we were at the hotel, my husband was left by a tour bus at Versailles. On the same day, one of our tour members lost his wallet to a pick-pocket. All calls back to
Australian banks and to family members were done FREE of charge. This is SERVICE and genuine care for clients - at it's highest level. The Best Western Chain are extremely fortunate to have a hotel of this standard. Highly recommended.
