The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the Metro and St. Germaine, Jardins de Luxembourg and great shopping.
Rooms are very small (which is faily typical in Paris) and , but newly decorated.
The beds are low to the ground. I had a sore back and found it hard to get up.
Colors are nice but too dark because the rooms are small and don't get much daylight.
Some bathrooms only have very small tubs, so ask for a room with a shower.
Breakfast is efficient and sufficient.
There is free internet.

We unfortunately arrived in Paris during Fashion Week and accommodation was hard to get. We were advised that this hotel had a cancellation so we jumped at it. Lady in reception was less than helpful and very rude. She was only smiley smiley when she sold us a bus tour. She obviously gets a commisssion. We Paid 165 euros a night - plus 8euros for breakfast a (bread roll crossant and Jam and pot of tea). They wanted to charge us 8euros to ring a taxi which we thought was a bit much. After staying for four nights (no option) we asked if she could recommend somewhere outside of Paris to visit and stay a couple of days - she then turned fully rude and and said NON and would not speak to us after that. The accommodation was fairly basic - but in a good location for sightseeing. Paris was great we loved it but what is it with the French they are the rudest people on the planet and don't deserve all of the tourist dollars in their country. If you speak English develop a thick skin because they don't like you very much. My Husband and I will go back to France down South and try again - we will also brush up on our French Language - There is a good book I read after my visit to Paris called "A Year in the Merde" by Stephen Clarke - read it first and it will give you a good idea what you are in for. Nice little spot. This is not a luxury hotel, don't recall the amenities being special but everything was clean. He brought us our breakfast which consisted of pastries and coffee. I would stay there again.

I always stay here when I visit Paris and one could get a room at any time but with the internet things have changed & it's not so easy anymore. On 2 occasions I had a room on the top floor - nor good, very small & very hot. The staff are not usually very helpful. The position is brilliant it's seconds from the Luxembourg gardens & a short walk to St Germain. I've stayed in many hotels in paris & this is the only one that has had a second visit.
