We stayed here for 2nights new years eve incuded ,the area is safe and good for all budgets bars + food ect . The underground is close. we walked to the Eiffel tower in about 20 mins . The rooms are small but so are many in main city's the room + bathroom was spotless + warm. the lift is tiny only 2 at a time ,the breakfast was 9 euros eat all you want .The staff in reception was excellent ,there is a secure car park about 5 mins walk away you; get 10% off from hotel reception. all in all I would recommend this hotel for a Paris break

When I reached Paris, I did not have a place to stay because my booking was canceled the day before tarvel. I was realy confused an anxious. asked my wife to search for a cheap, good hotel near Eifel.
after 30 min she called me said: Go to Ideal Hotel.
the hotel is located in a place that you have access to almost every thing easily (Metro, touristic places, restaurants, ...). the prices are very good comparing the services you recieve (Breakfast, very good WiFi, daily room service).
and finally I should explain that the staffes are very kind, having alway a smile on their face and helpful.

I would absolutely warn anyone considering staying at this hotel to STAY AWAY. It is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at.

Walking up the stairs, I'm pretty sure they haven't been vacuumed in at least a couple of years. The elevator is barely big enough to fit one suitcase.

The rooms are small and dingy, and our bathroom had a permanent odor of septic tank/sewage smell.

The internet is so slow it barely works.

And the staff is beyond rude. Apparently they have a policy that you have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave. However, that was never explained to us at check in. So the next day when my friend and I went to leave the hotel, the desk clerk starts yelling (literally yelling at the top of his voice) at us that we are trying to break the rules. We told him we didn't even know it was a rule and then I asked if I could take the key with me because I'd prefer it on my person since I had expensive camera equipment in the room. He starts yelling again about how I don't trust him.

Then the next day when I came back in to my room, he started yelling at me again, "STOP! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" And I said I was a guest at the hotel and he continued to treat me rudely and refused to believe me. After he looked up my name he finally let me in. You'd think he would've remembered screaming at me just a few hours earlier.

I'm not exaggerating at all.

This hotel is terrible. Stay. Away.
