We were not disappointed! This is a clean and cosy hotel in a central and convenient location with staff who were at hand to assist in every possible way. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. On the second morning, the demand for breakfast exhausted the fruit supply and on the next day, the attendant made certain that there was copious amounts available, particularly for my parents who find this an essential part of their diet.
The only downside is the noisy street at the front of the hotel, which is located opposite "Chez George", a lively pub from which the clientele spills into the tiny street in the wee hours of the morning. Much later, either a street sweeper or garbage truck rattles up the street with annoying reliability, from which we were fortunately able to return to sleep. These did not spoil our stay nor our opinion of the hotel nor it's location. As other writers have suggested, a courtyard room would probably be more secluded.
Regardless, we would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel la Perle as value for money, in a great location and with fabulous staff!

Hotel La Perle Paris is situated in the 6th district which is in Left Bank.
Rooms are spacious, continental breakfast to start the day, staff very attentive and the hotel
itself situated in walking distance of all the sigths Paris has to offer. Third time to Paris and would highly recommend this hotel. I booked on the net with no problems.

This hotel was in the Latin quarter, a great place to stay. Near the metro, within walking distance to a lot of sites, and tons of shops/ restaurants. It got a tad noisy at night sometimes, but nothing unbearable. The breakfast was great every morning and the staff were so very helpful and nice. We walked alot and always felt safe. Absolutely loved this hotel. Would definitely go back.

We have stayed several times at La Perle, most recently for the last three days. It is very well placed in an interesting area of Paris, is friendly and clean and has pleasant rooms with good facilities and decor - many have been upgraded and remaining rooms are in the process of so being. The breakfast area is in a very tasteful glass enclosed courtyard. The staff are delightful and very helpful. We shall stay there again without doubt. There are very good restaurants nearby and it is close to several metro stations.
