When we look at an hotel in Paris we find that hotel that seems quite nice according to the pictures on the internet, it also mention room service, and satelite TV mini bar. Well the impression we had when we first arrived was the outside which is in a dark old street, then once you step in, the lobby does not look like the pictures on the internet at all plus there was a notice saying that you are not allowed to eat in your room (which is surprising for an hotel which claim to have room service, which does not exist0.
When we went in the room it the impression was like stepping into a cheap doggy and dirty motel room, no mini bar, the bed not made properly, cheap furniture, stain carpet, towels with stains, no hook to hang your towel, no curtain in the shower (the worst is that apparently the bathroom was newly renovated),,,
The next day we tried to leave but we were told that the owner was on weekend and could not be contacted until she comes back, we were quite surprise that the staff could not contact the manager and nothing could be done until she had finished her weekend. When we finally saw the manager she was quite rude and agressive and was not helpful at all, the manager/owner claimed that the hotel was really good and it was not her fault if the towels were dirty but the fault of water proof mascara (which did not make sense to us), or it was not her fault if there was no mini bar and that everyone know that it is forbidden to eat in your hotel room in any country around the world.
I would certainly not recommend this hotel which is only false advertising, the only good thing was the location, but the overall is a terrible experience that kind of make the trip to Paris less fun.
Really doggy owner who does not understand the meaning of customer service and running an hotel.
