Really nice Boutique hotel, love the theme. Rooms are small but this is central Paris and they're more than comfortable. Bed was excellent, recommended!

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of February. It's about 5 mins walk from Chatelet les Halles, which is on the main line from CDG (approx 40 mins).
It's a great location, not far from the louvre, with lots of small bars and bistros within metres of the hotel. We had a very warm welcome to the hotel and loved the decor in reception. There is free wifi and lots of Paris guide books available to borrow.
Our room was perfect. We were in 403. Lovely jade green room and all the important things were perfect- large wonderfully comfortable bed, amazing sheets and a shower to die for. I also recommend the breakfasts, nice selection including meats, cheeses, pastries, yoghurt, fruits, boilled eggs, breads and cereals as well as good coffee.
There is also and honesty bar which includes hot drinks and there is free fruit.
Staff were really helpful arranging our night out at the cabaret, and generally being friendly and accomodating.
As you may have guessed I can't recommend this place highly enough and can't wait to return!

I stayed at hotel Crayon on December 2011 for one night. That was short city break. The hotel is very stylish, seems like a good desinger worked on the hotel's style. Though the rooms are small (as in the most hotels in paris), they are very cosy and each room has a special aroma (the dispencer startes working as lom as ypu are entering the room). And aroma is very nice and light, and you can choose aroma of your room while you are checking in. . A bath kit is also very aromatic with soap with some indians spices, shampoo with other aromas, etc. There are books in several languages at the bedside table in case you have time to read. The lobby of the hotel and toilet are very stylish indeed. Walls in toilet are especially nice:) instead of wall-papers, crayons are used to write whatever you want on the walls, and many funny expressions are written. Lobby is the most well-designed spot in the hotel and extremely cosy. Good tea and coffee are served there. And free fruites are offered to the guests. The staff is very helpful and speak excellent English. The location is good, in the heart of the city with shops and cafes around. Overall, the hotel is pleasant plac to stay.

Small and cosy hotel in the very center of paris, close to several metro stations and the Louvre museum (5 minutes walk, top!). We adored the design, fresh and colorful, and the idea of having some books of novels on a bed table to read. The decoration of the lobby is great also, I would love to use some ideas in my house. The team is very friendly and helpful when looking for restaurants or interesting places to visit in the area. The only difficult point is room sizes, but the majority of parisian hotels is known for it I guess. Still our stay at Crayon was so nice that I would come back next time in paris.
