“AMAZING!! HAVE STAYED THERE TWICE & WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK AGAIN SOON!!”

My wife and I found this little gem of a hotel via Lonely Planet reviewers back in 2006. We were so happy with our stay that we came back with three rooms full of family members in Dec 2011! I had my wife and one year old daughter (she turned one at the Hotel Lenox!), my brother with his wife and 3 yr old daughter, and my parents on their first visit to Paris. Everyone loved the Lenox.

As an avid traveler and a former Television Producer for the Discovery Networks/ Travel Channel, I like to think I am a good judge of hotels. That said, I cannot think of one negative to say about the Hotel Lenox. The hotel's location is AMAZING - less than one minute's walk to two different Metro stops, centrally located in the lovely and artistic Montparnasse arrondisement (aka the bistro district), and a very short walk to the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. The staff was outstanding - just as I had remembered - and they made us feel like we were at a home away from home. This tiny, clean, gem of a hotel provides the charm of Paris without all the hype or crazy prices. I would not want to stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: The corner junior suite on the top floor is bigger than the rest.

“Everything you expect from a 3* and more”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

This 3 star little hotel was a pleasant surprise. Small, cozy and comfortable, with lots of bistros, fruit markets and cinemas within walking distance. You can even find the Saturday marché and the Metro just around the corner. Could benefit from better pillows though, but the magnifier mirror in the bathroom was a big bonus to have your best make up finishing touches. Breakfast is a bit pricey (17 EUR), but the service was helpful and friendly.

“very happy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We just got back from our 8 day stay at the Lenox, and I must say we were very happy with this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our first room was a club twin which apparently are only located on the street side of the hotel. The room was cute, the deep purple wall color was a little too dark on cloudy winter days. Of course it came with the doors opening out onto the cute princess balcony, but the novelty of being on the street side quickly wore off when it came to the bar across the street being open till about 5:30-6 in the morning and the rowdy crowd coming out for smoke breaks. We were located just on the second floor so I don't know if being higher up helps with street noise below. We ended up moving to a room on the backside which was a full size bed and much brighter and cheerier and quiet. The front desk was helpful in moving us with no problem and housekeeping actually moved our packed bags for us while we were out waiting for the room to be prepared. The hotel was very clean and housekeeping was top notch. Not once did we every want for clean towels or coffee and tea. As for the gentlemen who felt akward about being gay, my partner and I never felt uncomfortable or made to feel uncomfortable. Other then being denied a room I could care less what they think. So "gay travlers" you'll be fine here. For some reason it was always clear to us that the breakfast was not free(I recommend asking first). We did the buffet the first morning we were there it was good but there are definently cheaper alternatives. The honesty bar was nice to retreat to in the evening before dinner , but be careful your bill can rack up fast. The area that the hotel was located was great. Two metro stations around the corner, 2 grocery stores, bakerys, tons of restaurants and cafes. We only left to do sightseeing but other then that we spent much of our time in the Montparnasse district. Overall this was a great hotel and if I was to ever go back to Paris I would probably stay here again.

Room Tip: The rooms on the backside of the hotel are much quieter and brighter. The front of the hotel does n...

Booked this hotel on friend's recommendation. Stayed 5 nights. After reserving online, we emailed the hotel with a few questions about the area and got a very nice reply.
Such convenient location! 2 minutes on foot from Vavin Metro station (exit to the rue Delambre) on the #4 Line that connects directly to Gare du Nord. Perfect for us as we arrived via Eurostar. Didn't have to transfer.
When I made the reservation I had requested a quiet room away from the lift. The front desk clerk noted this when we checked in and we were pleased with our 5th floor room with a little 'balcony'. The room itself was small, but nicely appointed with a good sized bathroom. When we asked about restaurant recommendations we were given a couple of suggestions. We had a very nice meal at one of them.
There are 2 supermarkets on the same block, as well as restaurants and bakeries all within a few minutes walk. We even walked to the Latin Quarter and Musee d'Orsay.
It was our first visit to Paris and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We went to Paris for a long weekend 2 weeks ago and stayed at this here.... we absolutely can't fault it. the staff were really helpful, the rooms was a nice size, with a balcony overlooking rue delambre....very close to 2 tube stops.... basically if you are looking for a nice, quiet, clean, authentic Parisian boutique hotel, without spending too much - go here! oh and its got an honesty bar where you can pour your own drinks!

Room Tip: We had one overlooking the rue delambre - 4th floor meant you weren't disturbed by the street no...
