I stayed in this hotel for four nights with my friend in August. Having only recently stayed in a nearby hotel I knew the location was perfect. We were woken every morning from 7:30am with people drilling outside our door, construction in the floors beneath us and street construction outside. The hotel site claims the rooms have been soundproofed -this is not true. We could hear the toilet seat being lowered in the room next door. Cleaning staff shouting at each other in the hallway sounded like they were in the room with us. Reception staff (except for one helpful man called Rabba) were unfriendly and rude. The room was too tiny to even open your suitcase on the ground and no safe was provided. I stayed in Hotel Bastille Speria around the corner previously and it was a shame it was booked up this time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for some sleep while in Paris.

True, the hotel was being renovated and the reception did need it, but all of the guest rooms were fully finished to a high standard. Our bed was large and comfy, the room was very clean, tidy and stylish although quite small (however, in paris why would one need such a large room when there is so much to see outside!). The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good english and the location was fantastic, only a 2 min walk to a great street; Rue Rivoli which leads down to the river and the Lourve. The only problems we experienced were the fact that the street outside was noisy at night and we had some problems getting the shower hose to stay upright but the overall experience out-ruled the downsides. I would recomend this hotel

This is a nice hotel, with a small room, but a big a confortable bed. Has a good location in a very quiet street and near Notre Dame. It was in renovation, but it didn´t bother me at all. The receptions in did needs a renovations, it is a bit depressing,

It is amazing how staff makes the complete difference when comes to being relaxed and enjoying the city. I had an accident and hurt my head during my stay and they had no first aid, so i had to get a taxi and look for an open pharmacy by myself while still bleeding. The staff did not even tryied to call a doctor and when i finally could talk to a friend of mine who is doctor they said he could not get in the hotel otherwise they would have to charge me an extra of 80 euros because it was like if he was a second guest. I almost called the police, but was too tired to do so. In the next morning i tried to talk to the manager but the lady in the reception kept saying that she did not know when the manager would be at the hotel. Only when I was calling at the police that she finally accepted to call the manager. Also they are ongoing renovation works that start at 8 a.m. and wake you up, willing or not. WORST TREATMENT EVER, AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU CAN.
