After arriving from Australia we were tired and put in a room that had stinking water dripping from the ceiling onto the towels in the bathroom, they moved us to another room that was dark, cold and depressing. It was very cold with no heating and there was minimal hot water to shower in. The bed was disgusting I don't think the bedding had been washed for a long time, it was appalling. We ended up having to leave to come home to Aus early due to getting very sick. I still cry when I think about what was meant to be a beautiful holiday with my husband.

I stayed at Hotel Du Casino for 2 days for a week-end in Paris.
The location is more or less O.K., however it takes about 10 minutes walking till the Opera. There are some cafes and shops nearby.
The Hotel itself is a bit old and the rooms are kind of shabby.Definetely the rooms need reparation. Probably most of the room s are smoking, therefore the smell of cigarettes can disturb the non smokers. The elevator is really small.
The breakfast is not so bad.
I must say, if you are coming to Paris for romance, this is not a hotel where you must stay. However if you are a budget traveller, it's not such a bad choice.

Had to stay 2 nights as hotel booking was prepaid. Rooms are tiny. Central haeting pipe in room was making a dripping noise every 5 minutes. no sleep. drain for shower was in middle of floor in bathroom not in the shower tray. nescessary as shower curtain did not fit. Water everywhere. Washbasin cracked. Leaking. no stopper in sink. Paintword flaking off ceiling. Scorch marks on ceiling above TV. Fire hazard. This hotel is a firetrap.
Elevator only takes 2 people at a time. No luggage. Staff very unfriendy when asked to give us a different room. Eventually got another room for 2nd night but it was worse than first. Had 2 nights without sleep due to dripping noise from pipes.

Stayed here for 3 nights.
The room was very comfortable although the bathroom was tiny but functional. The breakfast was plentifull.
