Booked a family room on the internet after reading some reveiws.
We arrived and tried to find a car parking space where the doors on my new car wouldnt get dents from others opening there doors, not a chance. You could only just open one door once the cars parked. I just had to pray the BMW driver next to us would be kind.
Once we checked in and got to the alleged family room (a normal room with a bed sofa in it) there was only two towels, two cups, two milk, you get the picture. I went to reception to ask for extras to be told you have booked a family room and there was nothing she could do, she was a young French lady with a very bad attitude. After getting no where i demanded to see the manager who after me asking do 13 and 14 year olds not have to wash n shower or drink he agreed to put some more paper cups in the room and enough towels.
The room was very dated and the aircon did not work and at noght the room was un bareable.
Next morning we went down to the resturant for breakfast to be told we had to use the upstairs resturant. When we got there it was basically a playroom with tables in it. We got our food whoch was cold and tea which was luke warm at best, so i asked if i could have some hot water and was told it is there pointing to the cool water, so i had to show the manager that i could pour the water over my hand without it being hot before they woukd get hit water.
I complained to miss very unhelpful at reception who said you have booked a family room so you have to eat up stairs, once again i spoke to the manager who said he woukd arrange for us to eat in the proper resturant. Next morning we were told once again that we had to eat up stairs in the playroom, however i kicked off and they allowed us to stay in the resturant. Now i wouldnt mind if we had not paid for the teenagers breakfasts but i had paid full price.
One night we had a few drinks in the bar, these were ?17 for two drinks.
Very expensive hotel and very poor service.

I brought two teenagers with me for them to visit Paris for the first time, and we had great deals for the two rooms with plenty of space for them to take out all their "stuff." When one girl got sick, the concierge. M. Georges, quickly and efficiently called for medical assistance, assured me a house doctor would come to our room very soon (within 30 minutes), and then called to check on us later. That is customer service that I really appreciate. hen I called the reception and asked for a late checkout because I was not feeling well, they accommodated me. I great really appreciate the assistance the hotel staff gave me.

I got a good deal on the rooms and was very happy with what I got for the price. Rooms were clean and modern, the beds spacious and comfortable, pillows were fine. Make sure you put the sign on the door to say you want the room cleaning. Only complaint was that the wifi wasn't working during the time we were there (5 days), and the room INTERNET was via a network cable, so was unable to get the free INTERNET access as I was using a phone and Ipad.
The position is great and so are the club sandwiches in the bar. Thought the public areas were very stylish, and the rooms although not massive very well designed and smart. The folding bed makes a bang if you sit on it too fast, but found the beds themselves excellent. If you look hard enough you could find things that make the rooms look poor close up in photographs, but they are the sort of thing most people would never notice and are probably in most if not all hotel rooms. Internet apart, was very happy overall and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Bear in mind I never got to the spa or had breakfast there so have given them average scores.

As a family with two young kids this hotel under performed. The food was cold and substandard over two nights which is really disappointing. Even after complaining they popped the food in the microwave and sent it back to us...aghhh . We travel extensively and this has been the most challenging stay and sadly it impacted our visit as the kids were tired and we needed to eat at the hotel.
On a more positive note the location is great, just don't eat in the hotel.

This is my fourth stay at the Novotel Tour Eiffel in the period December 2010 to December 2012 with my wife and children. This is my choice hotel whenever in Paris for work or leisure. My wife and children too have become very fond of the hotel. We are very pleased with the location, cleanliness, room decor and service. Although we had the buffet breakfast at the hotel during our stays, the staff never declined our special requests for omelettes which is not a standard buffet item. The children love the pool although it was closed during our most recent stay earlier this month. Guests will appreciate the short walk to the Eiffel Tower and the train stations. We always request for rooms on the high floor and the view of the Seine River just infront of the hotel is fantastic. Whenever we requested for extra pillows or for cultlery they were always delivered to the room very quickly. Novotel Tour Eiffel will always be my 1st choice when I visit Paris. It is excellent value for money and is certainly recommendable.
