“HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HOTEL - DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011

This hotel is not a 2-3 star hotel, it is a "-0" star hotel. Beginning with the picture of the hotel (outside) and pictures of rooms, mentioned amenities plus location of hotel - it is not what you see on the internet. The pictures are very deceiving!

It is an old, old, little hostal with miniature rooms, old dirty comforters and IT IS NOT located close to downtown Paris like the site and the TRAVEL AGENT (Halcon) stated.
After I read old reviews, spoke to travel agent in Spain and they continued to state that it was a good 3 star hotel and that reviews were too old. It is a horrible place to come home to after a day of walking, sightseeing! HORRIBLE!!
I did not stay after taking a look at the rooms - went downtown Paris and thankfully, I was able to find a good hotel so that we can enjoy our stay. We saved and travelled too far to be upset and uncomfortable! NOT WORTH IT!!!!

“Terrible. Will not be back”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

This is a cheaper hotel and I understand that you get what you pay for. I have stayed in many 1-2 star hotels as well as hostels in many different countries and I have to say that this is one of the worst places I've stayed in thus far. The area is not the greatest (a bit far) however I already knew that so that was fine. The walls were paper thin - you can hear people from all floors. The staff was nice however they do not know a lot of English so if you do not know too much be prepared.

All the rooms are a bit different so this may not apply to the room you get (we compared rooms with our friends who were also staying in the same hotel). The toilet and shower are in separate rooms (pretty standard for Europe however if you haven't traveled there before its a good heads up). Our hotel room had carpet everywhere, even in the toilet room and because it wasn't very clean you do notice things. There was a weird red stain on the handle of the hair dryer and under the sheets (they are easy to pull off under the pillow) I found some hair.

Now all of this did not really surprise me and I would have been content until this - We found someone's underwear (woman's) underneath our bed. This clearly shows that whoever is cleaning the rooms are not doing a great job.

I love Paris and have stayed in other hotels that were closer to attractions and cleaner. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.

“Not a 3 star hotel!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2011

Small rooms, little darker with very thin walls... you can hear snorring evan the guest from the next 2 floors. Some rooms had bathroom split into two, one part shower and another part the toilet, but fortunately my room had a normal bath and was OK. Rooms have old furniture and poorly!

Limited breakfast from 7-9 - one single type of cheese & ham, cereals, croissant and jam. If you ask you can have coffe, tea or hot chocolate. You have to wait for bread and croissant.

Broken elevator in the evening and sometimes in the morning. Also our problem (broken cable) with TV was set after 4 days.
For 75 euros we can get something better.

One good thing about this hotel is 2 metro station nearby. We used Guy Mochet station, about 3 minutes by foot from hotel.

“don't go there... you'll be better stay in a hostel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2010

Never seen any like this before...
Very very poor staff quality: rude and inconsiderate receptionists with no English whatsoever!
Breakfast was terrible, when we asked for an egg to be boiled for our 15 moths of baby, the answer was we have not paid for her therefore no eggs, not even boiled water.
Room quality was poor, dated and broken furniture, when we asked it to be fixed for the safety of our daughter. The answer was you broke it!
Our advice is just do go there, you will be better in hostel with you family.
