Hotel: The hotel could use a remodel or at least a fresh coat of paint. The room was small but expected. Nothing too fancy, no coffee/tea maker in the room, no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. THERE ARE NO CURTAINS IN FOR THE BATH. Taking a "shower" was a bit of a challenge. The location was tucked away in an area that appears to be unsafe however after a few days, it didn't feel unsafe as we became familiar with the area. Eiffel Tower was about 20 mins walk away and the metro about 7 mins. There is a grocery store around the corner and a few restaurants. I could see the tip of the tower from my bedroom window. The coolest thing was that they offered free wi-fi. The beds were fairly comfortable, no complaints. Please note-since this is an old hotel, they are still using old fashioned keys and not key cards. You must leave the key at the front desk before you go out. Also, the elevators are tiny. My friend and I took turns taking our bags up.
Staff: The staff was friendly and helpful.
If you're looking for a cheap no frills place for a few days, this place might work for you. Overall this place wasn't too bad, just extremely basic and for the price, you get what you pay for. I will probably stay elsewhere next time however, I would not mind staying here again if needed.
