“What a Fantastic Hotel Hidden away in the Heart of the City!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2011

After an eventful Journey from the Airport we Arrived on the Champs Elysees with suitcases in towe and were absolutely gobsmacked.

What a beautiful street - the hotel is located down a quiet side street just off the Champs Elysees. Perfect distance for a 5 minute walk to get some tea of the famous street!

Hotel staff were perfect - so friendly and spoke great english - the lobby and outside of the hotel is beautiful with all flowers and decorations by the door. The lift is big enough for 2 people and 2 suitcases easily.
Rooms were a great size enough room for 2 people and large suitcases - shower was efficient and the bathroom was really modern.

Only slightly negative point was the rooms were Boiling so we had to leave the window open which made it a bit noisier but there were no issues at all with that.

There also wern't very many lights which made it a bit dark at night but the huge windows made up for it during the day!

Such a quaint little hidden gem right off the metro in a perfect place with perfect rooms and staff. Lovely white towels and great pillows and amenities!

Mini bar snacks and drinks were also very well priced and the safe was free of charge!
No english channels on the tv but you don't go to paris to sit in the room do you??

All in all i would recommend this hotel to everyone and will be stopping here if we go back!

Thanks Arc elysees.

“It was nice to be there”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2010

Have been there one night, choosing on the web. I appreciated it was small and freshly refurbished and location was perfect for my needs.
I called one day before to say I would have check-in late and at arrival after midnight they knew and were waiting for me. it is really small and really new new, I have noticed rooms on 2nd floor and over have more light from street or from a small garden. Rooms are actually very small but it is what I expected, bathorooms in fine design and brand new, toiletries quite ok.
Concierge in the morning again very cooperative and warmly wishing to help me for all my needs.
I liked the place and I would deifnitely go back there for overnight stay in a business trip and whenever in need of location so central (VI and VIII arrondissements).

“The best location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 May 2010

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights from May 14 to May 18 for the first part of our honeymoon. This was our first time to Europe hotels but we had been warned that they are very small. This hotel indeed has tiny rooms but they are good enough for their purpose. The room was very cozy and modern. I guess it had been recenlty renovated. The bathroom as well was small but modern. We have no complaints about this hotel.
There is also free wifi so that was good to stay in touch with our relatives. There is no restaurant or bar that we are aware of so we can't really comment on that. The location is the best!!! You are literally a 5 minute walk to the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. The restaurants on the Champs have really great food and there are plenty of bars or areas to sit and people watch.
There is also a metro station (George V) at the corner of the hotel street (rue Washington) and the Champs Elysees. The metro in Paris is quite extensive but easy to grasp. There are literally stops everywhere.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.

“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2009

When you hear the name Paris, immediately one thinks Romance. And finding somewhere suitable to stay can make or break the romance in your trip. Some of the hotels in the city have got nothing to do with passion, in fact some might look very convincing from the outside, but ones you step inside, reality kicks in. All of a sudden you say to your self: “I knew it, I knew that this was too good to be true”. There is generally something to be given up for a bargain price. Sometimes, it is too good to be true, and some times, that something your giving up is every thing: clean sheets, furniture, air conditioning, wallpaper, carpets, bathroom, and even the T.V. is old, worn out and out of style.

I expect that I am not the only one who has been in that situation: disappointed by the façade of what they thought was a dream hotel, but, turned out to be a decorative nightmare. I vow to never again judge a book by it’s cover. However, on my last trip to Paris, was exactly the opposite of what I describe. I came upon this hotel unexpectedly while I was looking for some thing else.

Normally I like to stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel when ever I’m in Paris, just, so that I would avoid any unpleasant experiences, and even then the results are not guaranteed! This time however, I wanted to stay as close as possible to the legendary Avenue Des Champs Elysees, but my wallet didn’t really agree with some of the prices the 4 and 5 star hotels were asking around that area. So, as I was looking, I stumbled up on this completely refurbished 3 star hotel that is only within a few minutes walking distance from the Arc De Triumph, and my favorite haunt; the over 100 years old café le Fouquet’s on the corner of Avenue George V, and the Champs Elysees.

It was in a great location, with clean interior, and a reasonable price. I told my self why not gave it a try: and I was hooked.

This cozy 3 star hotel is in an amazing location, and I would recommend it to anyone, weather you are looking for privacy, safety, or wish to stay out late into the early hours of the morning, you can find a full night-life just minutes a way, and safely walk back at any time.

The hotel is affordable, clean, well located, but what I love most, is the kindness of the staff. They seem to have been hand-picked from top management to work in housekeeping. They were extremely courteous and really helpful. I was treated very well, and I never felt that infamous Parisian attitude for not speaking French in any way or form. I requested to extend my stay without notice, with no trouble at all, they even gave me free coffee and chocolate-croissant when ever I asked, and I asked every day…

“Great hotel for the price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 July 2009

This is a great hotel price for the money. I paid 101 Euro per night for a smallish room with a double bed. The hotel has apparently undergone renovation so the rooms have a very modern decor (the pictures posted here are before the renovation). The hotel is 5 minutes from the Champs Elysees, which is far away enough to allow you to get relatively quiet sleep at night, but close enough to make sure you are close to the main attractions. The metro stop (FDR) is 10 mins from the hotel. Overall, this is a great hotel if you are interested in a clean, modern and efficient hotel for tourism purposes (e.g., you are in the city to enjoy the city and the hotel is just a place to sleep at night). The staff were also very polite and helpful.
