This was my second stay at this hotel, which means I liked it very much the first time I visited, a little over two years ago. The main reason we came back was the staff; they were INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly, and our limited language skills was never a problem. The location is very convenient; with a pharmacy, little grocery store for the necessities, Internet café, bistros and Metro station literally just around the corner.
The building is old and the rooms quite worn down with small bathrooms, but clean and fair considering the price. Beds are a litle too hard, but manageable. The only thing I would say is negative, is the fact that you hear what goes on in the corridor and the nearby rooms very clearly as the walls are thin, but the outside traffic was never a problem - a very quiet area at night, all in all, which was very nice. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Paris, which I hope will be soon. The staff has made each stay an absolute pleasure, which by far outweighs the old and worn building. A bientot!
