This location was great for walking to Notre Dame, taking the Metro to Eiffel Tower and the shops and eateries along the main street that stretches from Ponte Neuf to Luxemburg Gardens. (St Michel metro)

The room was basic, but clean and the bathroom large and spacious. The bathroom shower head was in an awkward position but worked nevertheless. The staff were helpful at the reception and happily looked after baggage all day however language barriers existed at times when asking advice.

Overall, good hotel if you are looking for a safe area, clean hotel and home base while taking in the Paris sites.

Very good location, but shared the room with insects! Bath not clean either. Would not return.

The location of this hotel is excellent for those wishing to enjoy the Quartier Latin. I was prepared for a small hotel room, but the fact that the shower was situated by a pitched roof meant that if you were over 5 feet tall, you could not stand up in the shower. The main issue I have with this hotel is that when we went to the front desk to check out, we were dismissed by the man at reception without a word, only for him to scream at us down the street because we hadn't paid the local taxes. When we returned to the hotel he then shouted at us in front of other guests, and was exceptionally rude, when we were the ones who went to see him in the first place to check out. We then tried to pay the taxes and he refused to acknowledge we were there. Any hotel that thinks it is acceptable to treat guests in this way can never expect people to return.

Much negative said about this hotel. i wonder where some of these people think they are going. Paris hotel rooms are small and hotels tend to be smaller with fewer ameneties than larger hotels. if you want a Hilton or a Radisson go there but lets be clear that these new hotels are not right next to the Sorbone, walking distance from Notre Dame and the Pantheon... This is a charming small hotel with adequate rooms and a lovely lobby. Maybe a bit warn, but it is warm and comfortable. I love this place.
