The Astor is a real find in Paris. A hotel that is clean and bright with large rooms and super bathrooms in the de luxe category
The breakfast was acceptable and the bar was lively.
The position is central and perfect for the department stores, restaurants and sights.

I just came home from a 4 days trip to Paris and I must recommend this fantastic hotel. All the staff is excellent,the interior is beautiful and I highly recommend a dinner adventure at the restaurant. We had extraordinary good food with selection of the best wines we tasted in PAris for only 80 euros pr. person.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. the rooms were sufficient and not small for a regular room in Paris, very clean and tidy, with bathroom also very clean. there was place for all our luggage and personal belongings. there is also a safe in the room. the service by the reception and the concierge was always with a smile, and willing to assist. the location is perfect. we did not have to use the metro at all. it is minutes walking from every location in the center of Paris, you can even go between shoppings to unload your bags and return to the stores. close to the madelene,champs ellisys,trocadero,eiffel...
the restaurant serves a great breakfast and equivalent to a lower star hotel that you will need to add for a breakfast - you get a full return for your money.
in conclusion - we would certainly come back to this hotel and reccomend others.

This was a good hotel close to the Madeleine, just behind the Faubourg St Honore and a short walk from the Boulevard Hausmann and all the shops. Also within walking distance of some excellent restaurants. We were fortunate to have a suite which was very spacious and extremely comfortable if a little tired decoratively. The front of house staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help. We would definitely stay there again.
