After our Med cruise we spent 4 nights here in Paris. Great location only one block off the Champs and within walking distance of the Arch and the Louvre. The Roosevelt Metro stop is only a block away on the yellow line. Quick access to the Metro affords transportation to most Paris sights. (Buy a carnet - 10 trips on the Metro.) The hotel is very French and delightful although expensive. Our room was delightful and the service great. Their breakfast buffet is wonderful but EXPENSIVE at 25 E each but worth it if you have limited time. It was very good and the service impeccable. Otherwise just grab a croussant and coffee at many of the local bistros on the Champs. Cabs are available on call to take you wherever you want to go and are approved and not those who would rip you off. Quite a pleasant stay. Took one to see the Eiffel lit up! A nice hotel for the euros.

Stayed at The Chateau Frontenac for 3 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday. It didn't dissapoint! Had a room upgrade for free. Our room was large compared to other Paris hotels we have been to. The staff were all friendly, breakfast plentyfull and a good variety. The location was good although quite a walk to the opera area as the weather was fine this didn't bother us. I will certainly stay again at this hotel as there were some excellent restaurants near by as well.

We stayed for a week with our teenage son and so booked one of the suites which had a separate lounge room with sofa bed. The room was larger than we expected and for anyone travelling with a child / third person, we would highly recommend it. The location was unbeatable with easy access to many main tourist attractions and a wide array of eating options within easy walk distance (including the Champs Elysees). The staff and overall feel of the hotel were excellent and really contributed to a fantastic stay. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, but instead ate across the road at La Belle Ferroniere which had great breakfast options for a lot less and allowed us feel like we were eating in Paris rather than in a hotel. The hotel bar was a great spot to unwind after our feet were killing us from walking all over Paris. Overall, when we return to Paris, we'd definitely look to stay here again.

Yes, the beds are hard and the pillows are strange. But this hotel has the perfect location for us. We walked from the Louvre, to the Eiffel Tower, and to the Arch of Triumph. The staff was most helpful, even getting my wife's I-Pad to work with their wireless connection. This is actually more of a business hotel, but it worked quite well for us. We went across the street to a restaurant and ate breakfast there instead of paying the ridiculous price for breakfast at the Frontenac. We opted for the triple room, even though there were only two of us. The extra space paid off. There are two markets within three blocks, giving you the option of buying a light meal and eating it at the hotel. We did that several times.
