This was your typical small Paris hotel. Getting to the hotel from CDG was straight forward, and there was a relatively cheap private parking just next door to the hotel. The owners of the hotel were also the receptionists which was nice and they were very helpful.

The building was very Parisian, and that ofcourse meant tiny corridors, small elivators and lots of stairs, but we eventually made it to the room! It was clean and so were the toilets but the room was quit hot, and the fan inside the room wasnt working. The view was not that great either (check picture).

Breakfast next day was nice. All in all a very expected 3 star experience, no surprises. Just be sure that you understand that the area is Paris's red light district!

Loved it, perfect position, clean rooms, friendly staff, great "lite" breakfast. Everything you could want in Paris, Rooms may be on the small size, but you're not there all day anyway. My only concern would be the ventilation of the bar fridge!!

As this was our first overseas trip, we were very nervous about accommodationin Paris. We heard about how expensive it is in Paris, as well as all the security issues. For us, we wanted a clean place to sleep, with a door that locks and a shower to come back to after a day of walking. The room we received was all this and more. We had a newly renovated room, the bed was so soft, it was quiet, cleaned daily and safe. The room was small compared to Australian hotels (as was the shower), however it was absolutly perfect. The location is awesome! We walked to all te attractions and Montemarte was without doubt, our favorite! The hotel staff were helpful and friendly (especially on our checkout by helping us with an airport transfer). I will and already have referred this hotel to our friends. We will be staying here again.

The staff who welcomed us were pleasant and helpful but overall the hotel was a disappointment. The room was basic with no tea/ coffee facilities and the sound from the halls travelled into the room. The room was clean but the carpet was so old and stained and there were ants in the place. The wardrobe squealed and the tv was low budget so distorted alot. No English channels except news and we lost those on day 3. Breakfast was basic and bland but ok. Location well, I could see the moulin rouge from the street only so not what I brought into but otherwise it was good for the metro and keen walkers like us walked each day to all top attractions.
