Having looked at lots of hotels in Pris before booking, I choose this hotel as it seemed to be in the middle of everything. My boyfriend and I like to walk everywhere and wanted to see the 'real Paris'. This hotel enabled us to do that, it was a 45min walk to the Eiffel Tower, 30mins to the Champ de Elysee, 30mins to the Lourve... perfect.

The hotel is a 3 min walk from the the underground and easy to find. The reception staff were extremely helpful on how to get to the sights printing off route finders etc however, not so helpful on where to eat, just saying go out of the hotel and turn left! The lift is small and quirky, we could easily fit us, 2 big bags and suitcase in there. Our room was on the 3rd floor and at the back of the hotel and was really quiet. The room size was small, but perfectly adequate for the 3 night stay, and who comes to Paris to stay in their room all day????! The bathroom had a shower and bath and was really clean.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, even 4 starbucks! We ate in the restaurant to the left of the hotel on the first night where the food was really good. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as I thought it was a little pricey at 12 euros each, so we either went to Starbucks or found a restaurant that did breakfast.

Would I stay here again, yes!

Having stayed there twice in three years now, Opera Deauville has been a great place to stay on both occassions!

The staff are very helpful, and allowed us to print our flight tickets from the front desk computer. The rooms are small but comfortable. The air conditioners in the rooms are great, especially during the heatwave we experienced during our stay. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean.

Its location is perfect as its located 5 minutes from a shopping and eating out area, and from the nearest metro station.

When we return to Paris, it will once again be to Opera Deauville!

Having looked at hundreds of hotels in Paris on various website my boyfriend and I booked this hotel based on such good reviews online - we were definitely not disappointed ! The hotel is in a great location, next to saint lazarre train station and metro stop, we walked almost everywhere on our trip this hotel is in walking distance of all the major attractions in paris and close to lots of restaurants and bars, The Layfayette Centre is a 5 min walk away at most. Opposite the Hotel is a wonderful little patisserie that is very cheap in comparison to all others in Paris.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, we didnt make any reservations or book any trips through them but I am sure they would be very happy to help. When leaving the hotel they do ask you to leave your key in the hotel reception which we found a little strange, we would much rather have kept our key with us, however this did mean keys were kept safe.

The Room was lovely, it was clean and our bedding/towels were changed each morning, our room was located at the back of the hotel which is very overlooked by the neighbours however extremely quiet. The breakfast room is a little quirky and we tried this one morning although a little expensive at 12 euros each there were plenty of pastries, cereals and breads etc.

Many of the reviews below complain about the lift size, however the lift is perfectly adequate for two people and their suitcases, definitely not a problem especially on a romantic trip to Paris!

Overall very impressed with the hotel worth the money - you get what you pay for !

We arrived in Paris early one morning and had booked to stay at this hotel for four nights. We were very warmly greeted when we arrived and the hotel was happy to look after our bags for us until later in the day when we would be able to access our room. They also provided us with all the information we needed for getting around Paris and were always happy to help us with any queries we had.
The room was an unusual configuration but the bed was comfortable and there was enough room for us and our large suitcases and we were able to make coffee in our room if we wanted to. The bathroom was a good size for Paris and was well equipped with everything we needed including a line to hang washing on to dry. This hotel is also in a good part of Paris if you wish to shop in such places as Le Printemps and Galarie Lafayette. The metro was very close to the hotel as was a FNAC where I had to go to pick up tickets we had booked for exhibitions. There were also plenty of eating places nearby. We would be happy to stay at this hotel again
