First off I loved the location of this hotel, you are in an actual neighborhood and get to see how Parisians live, work and play vs. being in a purely touristy area. The metro is very close by and you can walk to many sights including the Champs de Mar, Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Montparnasse, Also the open-air farmer's market on the Rue de Saxe is not to be missed, the main market is on Saturday morning with another one on Thurs., go early, they close right on time!
The room and bathroom were a very large size by European standards. The housekeepers closet adjoined the room and they banged around in there loudly for hours every morning, very rude and disruptive.
The lows were my sunglasses disappearing while a hotel staffer was working on our internet connection (which was out most of the time), after searching over and over for the glasses I was getting furious, suddenly when the worker left they were right on top of my purse, where I had looked a dozen times...I hate to accuse but I honestly think he took them and thought the better of it and put them back before leaving.
Another low is the breakfast buffet, it was close to 20 Euro and I deliberately never ate it for that very reason. I did do coffee a couple times...regardless when I got home I realized I was charged twice for breakfast buffet and they were real jerks about reversing the charge. They had no proof of the charges, since I had never signed for the buffet, so they finally/reluctantly reversed the charges. It put a bad taste in my mouth for sure!
Definitely review all of your room charges onsite before departing!

Positives
- Fantastic location, 20 minute walk from eiffel tower, close to 2 metro stations, quiet and clean area
- Tidy, cleaners attended the room daily
- Impressive buffet breakfast, loads of food choices
- Friendly helpful staff

Negatives
- Was bitten by something every night of our stay, assuming bed bugs - completly ruined the hotel for me, struggled to sleep knowing I would wake up with more itchy red marks
- Very pricey restaurants near the hotel

If there had been nothing biting me during the night I would have rated this hotel highly and good value for money however due to the bed bugs I cannot. Room 6 should not be used until the hotel has sorted the issue.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights mid December 2011. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated and the staff were very friendly. I had no trouble with theft, however I kept valuables either with me or locked in my suitcase with my own padlock. The rooms are big with a nice bathroom and TV which had mainly French channels, but did have BBC world news. The hotel is in a great location, roughly 20 mins walk to the Eiffel tower but only a few mins away from two Metro stations.

If you want a hotel with a decent price, clean and in a great location, I would definately recommend this hotel. My only negative is the price of breakfast (19 Euros/person/day) which was too expensive, however there are many streets close to the hotel with supermarkets and cafes.

Do not expect parking at this hotel. We were told there would be on-site parking if we arrived early to check in, however, 5 slots for 50 plus rooms is not hotel parking!!! We arrived well before 2 pm check-in at staff advice to get a parking spot. There were never any open spots. There does not appear to be any hotel supervision of the five spots; are they being sold by the concierge, the next door apts using, the delivery man, what? Bottom line for a guest? You hit the lottery or your parking will be two long city blocks away, open surface with no security for 24 euro additional a day. There was not a good option but only thing available and you are stuck with a car and a hotel room a long way away. If you want this hotel room do not bring a car.
Everything else about the hotel was average to the price points.
Staff was attentive except for the very mis-leading parking advice.
