While the hotel is a bit too far away from the centre it is near a nice quiet residential area, and right opposit a metro. The rooms are clean and reception staff helpful, other than that we would not stay there again. The rooms are small, it looks like they have tried to cram as many rooms into the hotel as possible - cramming two rooms into what is only a decent size area for one room. Also, the window was tiny and as it was facing a busy road you couldn't leave it open at night, even with it closed you could still hear the traffic a bit. While the hotel is ok if you are on a budget, you still feel you are being short-changed (but that unfortunately applies to most Paris hotels at the moment).

We stayed here over New Years. The room was clean and had everything you need for a city break that doesn't involve spending any real time in there. The room was very cold and the heating didn't work.The shower was OK but dont have one in the morning or during busy times. Great location for metro and tram. Breakfast was severly lacking in choice and taste. One night we went back early and thought we might have a few drinkis in the bar to find it was the barmans night off and nobody else was serving. We couldn't even get a coffee. The staff were very helpful and did everything they could. Wouldnt go back.

Our room had a lovely view of the street and a big window that you could open (lots of street noise but that is to be expected in Paris. If you closed the window there was barely any sound from the street at all). Our rooms were clean and had AC. The bathrooms were modern, the water was hot and we received fresh towels every day. No complaints in that department at all. Our family spent 5 nights there during a heat wave and the rooms were always comfortably cool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed their breakfast service which included both hot and cold selections ranging from croissants to scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. The coffee was delicious.

My husband and I and our teenage son found the proximity to the Ballard station (right across the street) to be very convenient.

Overall we would describe this hotel as somewhat plain (no frills) but comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights when i was visiting Paris during mid July. I didn't expect much from this hotel as I only paid approx $50 AUD per night but was surpised to see the condition when my friend and I got there. We walked passed the hotel a few times as we thought it was too nice for the price we had payed. The hotel is located on the corner of Blvd Victor and there is a metro station right across from it which was very convenient. The rooms are in decent condition, although is it fairly small, it was comfortable, I would have liked a better pillow on the bed and also coffee/tea facilities but as mentioned, I didn't expect much from the hotel. The bathroom seemed a little run down however everything worked fine. They did not have much options on the telly but I guess this will just motivate you to go out and see the sights of Paris. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from around the hotel and there is also a McDonalds down the road which is always handy when you just want something quick and fairly cheap. I loved the location of this hotel and would definitelu go back, I think it is save to say that this hotel is probably the nicest in the area. There is a lovely little French pattiserie around the corner that makes wonderful pastries with a wide selection of macaroons and the best pain au chocolat I've had in my entire life! Most of the staff spoke English and were very helpful and friendly, we organised a cab from the hotel to Gare Du Nord and the price was fairly reasonable. We asked one of the staff to recommend a good and fairly cheap authentic French restaurant and he pointed out the one that he goes to and when we got to the restaurant, the owners treated us very nicely! This hotel is also located close to an overground train station which takes you straight to Versailles and if you walk around the area, you will be able to see the Eiffel tower. It is definitely not a 5* hotel but the staff made our stay much pleasant.
