We purchased a one night package with Eurostar-London to Paris, which included Louvre Tour, Eiffel Tower admission, Seine boat tour, and one night at the Bern Hotel. We were given room #1. We imagine this can only be a converted storage room or overflow space for package tour guests. We are frequent travellers and are accustomed to small European hotel rooms, but this one was completely void of any charm. The lighting was abysmal, the carpets and walls stained, the bedding lumpy, thin, and stained. The fridge was not working and would not, even if it were, fit any full size bottle. If you stay in this room, you must keep your blinds drawn and rely on the horrid lighting, as the courtyard is immediately outside your window and is the place guests regularly go to smoke. The hotel is located in a very sleepy neighbourhood which is apparently the used accoustic string instrument district of Paris-the only stores nearby sell antique violins, guitars and other string instruments. We took a 20 minute walk to the nearest pub for dinner, which turned out to be some incredibly overpriced and completely inedible pasta.

This hotel is well located which is a great bonus!
The people at the reception were very courteous. We arrived at 12h30 (check-in time 14:00), they check us in with no problem.
Internet is not included you'll have to buy one of those cards they sell at the reception.

Our room wasn't well cleaned....
We booked three nights. Every evening when we came back to sleep, our beds weren't done. The maid basically just covered the duvets (couette) without doing the beds. And this has happened all three nights.
I would do the beds every night, all breadcrumbs that my son left were on the carpet (in between the joint beds) until we left. conclusion = the carpet wasn't even hoovered!
Bathroom (expect limescale...) was clean everyday. Towels changed everyday. Because of this, I did not complain for the carpet & beds.

Again, a well located hotel, nice people at the reception I recommend this hotel.

Good location right near a metro stop (and two stops away from the Moulin Rouge), room was nice and clean..

We requested a triple room with an extra bed, and got a double room with two stretches, they said this was the biggest room they had and were not very flexible (so we had to stay in this cramped room for three nights), they said it was booking.com's fault as they dont have triple rooms (but this is an option on the website). Everything requested (extra towels and iron etc) seemed to be too much effort (and we had to ask for extra towels every day).

This hotel was extremely hard to find. It is not near the opera house as the name implies. The bathroom was very small with a slanted wall on the shower side which made it difficult to take a shower without hitting your head. Definitely not for someone over 5 feet tall. Room was very quiet though with a nice view of the Eiffel Tower.
