Stayed three nights the end of January on Marriott points. Was upgraded to a premium room... very nice and spacious (for Paris). Windows overlooked an interior courtyard but based on comments from previous reviews, it was probably a good thing. Bathroom was clean and decent size - love the heated towel rack!!! Wi-Fi service was good - no issues. The hotel has a small but nice pool (not many hotels in Paris have one), and a good gym with a sauna and a steam room. Breakfast buffet (free for Gold and Platinum members) was a plus with lots of choices including cooked to order omelets. Staff was very friendly and helpful... my French is weak, but most of the front desk and restaurant personnel are fluent in English. The location of the hotel is excellent - within walking distance to the Louvre, Jardin Tuilleries, Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay, Sainte-Chapelle (go see - the stained glass windows are amazing!), etc. The streets of the Sainte-Germain area near Notre Dame are nice to stroll thru... lots of litte shops and markets. The Metro is close and convenient, but I recommend walking if you are up to it... you get a very different feel for the city, and the opportunity to stop and explore the shops and parks as you pass by. Negatives... not a one. I'll stay here again.
