This hotel is near the Eiffel tower but is still quite far from most places of interest in Paris (however, the metro station is next to the hotel, which mitigates this issue). But if you're looking to be in a neighbourhood where there are cafes and good (inexpensive) eateries, go elsewhere. As for the hotel itself and the rooms, they were just passable. The room was tiny and did not smell very good (hard to define what, but it was musty and humid). There was a lot of traffic outside, which awoke me early in the morning. And I needed the hotel to store my luggage for the day - my last in Paris - and the luggage room was in an unsecured area (I was basically told that it was up to me to ensure it was locked - impossible since it was a backpack). Overall, for the price I did not find this hotel to be a good value.
