Hotel was in a great location, close to transit and all major sites were easy to get to from here. We got a great deal compared to other hotels in the area. Room was very small, but clean and adequate. Bathroom had glass walls and made for very little privacy. Over all enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel.

Stayed two weeks in Paris in this nice hotel one half block from a tube station and about two blocks from quaint Rue Mouffetard. A nice selection of breakfast cold items are available for a reasonable cost in the small downstairs dining area. The room and bathroom were clean, newly refurbished and updated.
Happy Note:The desk clerk was very helpful when, on the morning I was checking out, persons in another room were also leaving - their taxi driver picked up my suitcase by mistake, put it in his taxi, off they went. A few minutes later, I noticed my suitcase was gone. The desk clerk figured out what happened and called the dispatcher for the taxi. The dispatcher got in touch with the driver and got the address he delivered the previous hotel guests and their luggage. The clerk found the local name and phone number of the guests, called them, and, Voila, they had my suitcase and would hold it until my shuttle taxi to the airport collected it. Can you believe I got my suitcase back and made my flight to the USA.

For those who have not stayed in a Paris Hotel you do not get great value for your money. This Hotel however, is of good standard in a nice district. It is a modern style Hotel in an old building in the 5th District of Paris. I have stayed overnight in many Hotels of this star rating and this is probably the best. I stayed in a single classic room whilst visiting a friend who lives in Paris, and I found this Hotel very acceptable. The single room was quite small as was the bathroom but both were modern in design. I also liked the provision of shampoo and shower gels which you do not often get in a 2* Hotel. The staff were pleasant and the entrance was modern. Lots of eating places nearby as is the Metro. Good rate of 80e via Hotels.com which was much cheaper than the Hotels own website.

For work I needed a hotel near the Jardin des Plantes. This is definitely one of the cleaner hotels I have stayed in in the area and in a great location close to the Rue de Mouffetard. Also the metro around the corner and plenty of shops. The complementary wifi was the biggest advantage for this hotel.

The rooms were tiny and I would not share this room as it has a glass wall to the bathroom so doesn't offer any privacy. The cleaners did nothing to the finishing touches. Every day they forgot something. The first the towels were lying on the side; the second night the bedspread and cushions were on the floor next to the bed but the bed had been made. The third night it was fine. The mattress felt lumpy but slept well.

There is no real storage to speak of in the room so pack lightly. I would recommend this hotel to a sole business traveller needing a clean place to put their head down for a couple of nights.
