I booked this hotel immediately after the renovation was finished. The location is convenient for walking and sightseeing in Paris and also for doing business. The hotel is close to the metro stop Saint Augustine and few minutes from the Gallery Lafayette. I found the service acceptable and considering that everything was brand new the standard of cleanliness and comfort was well above average. The staff was pleasant but not always able to assist. Breakfast was adequate. The rooms were the right size and the bathroom modern. The only problem which for me was significant was the thickness of the walls. I could hear my neighbors and they could hear me which resulted in an unpleasant occurrence when, during an evening business call, the guest on my left started banging in the wall. I would not discourage anyone from staying at the Sydney Opera but I will not return.

Very convenient for walking and sightseeing in Paris. Excellent service and very high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfasts were excellent. A delightful hotel, and we enjoyed our three nights there, which were too short. I recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Paris and hope to return there myself in the next year or so.

Stayed here for 4 nights and did not have any complaints. The girls on the front desk were excellent, the location is great and the rooms were big enough for the two of us and cleaned everyday. Breakfast is buffet style and you can have as much as you like. There is a metro station within a couple of minutes walk and there are many restuarants nearby. We found a little chinese restuarant on Rue D'Arcade which serves fantastic meals at decent prices

It is a quiet area, but the windows in the rooms is still low noise so you do not hear any traffic.
The staff are friendly, helpful and honest. When we left, we had forgotten a bottle in the minibar. Maid was honest and came after us with this.
Modern and cozy rooms with great bathrooms.
Free wifi.
The hotel looks frech and has no bad smell.
The bar is closed, but the staff makes drinks for you if you ask for it.
We slept well and had a very good stay.
Only thing that does not make the top score is that breakfast was expensive, but there are good alternatives to the nearest street.
