We travelled as a couple in January 2012. The hotel is a fine 3 star, with everything we were looking for. That means we hoped to find a modern hotel, a quiet place, right in the heart of the city....basically around the corner from Tour Eiffel (Tube station Trocadero). We were looking for amenities like free coffee or at least a kettle, for free high speed internet access, a well heated room, a good bed, and a well maintained bathroom.
This was all available. Nothing was missing. However, we were not expecting a large room (which is unaffordable in the centre of Paris), and we did not get it. The room was small, but we did not mind. The breakfast on offer is a bit expensive, but the price is not exaggerated. Anyway, you can get your croissants in the neighbourhood.
Important is that the staff is very friendly and helpful.
If you arrive with heavy luggage it is better to avoid the subway. There are not may elevators or escalators available.
