The hotel is very clean and with enough space to use comparing to other hotels in Paris. The staff personal handled us very well and generally the atmosphere is very warm and nice.
The breakfast is great. Sure, you can get other great breakfasts in Paris at mostly the same price but this is very convenient way to start the day.
I fully recommend.

for a 3 star hotel, i couldn't ask for more.
first, was its great location literally minutes away from St. Sulpice Church,
near the Latin Quartier and along St. Germain des Pres, where Les deux magots, Cafe de FLore are located, walk straight and there's the Carrefour and the Odeon Metro.
minutes away from Jardin de Luxembourg, Musee de CLuny, St. Severin Church and if you like books, there's just ton of bookshops to choose from, one of my faves is Gibert et Joseph.
The area seems to be safe at night, and the place inviting.
It's a quaint, little cozy hotel tuck inside the rue of St. Sulpice,
but look out though, the room is really small and a bit dated.
It's not modern with an old chic feel to it, but i think the Parisian charm is definitely there.
We ask for a street view and we got it facing the Marco Polo resto.
at night, the street can be a bit noisy but when you're tired, i think you wouldn't notice it.
A lesser note though was, it has poor wi-fi service, constantly have to battle with the connection, and the a/c isn't working as it;s supposed to be, the evening receptionist said it works like a heater during the winter months?! anyways, we just have to open our window or else inhale the same oxygen back and forth.
but their service was efficient and every time we come in and out of the elevator, they would say Bonjour! ^-^
In fact, when we requested for a Shuttle service on the way to the airport, they were helpful about it and arranged it in time.
something which the other hotels don't offer when I first ask.
overall, the stay was good and memorable.
a bit expensive but nothing comes cheap when you're in Paris right? ^0^

As is the case with many Paris hotels, the room was tiny - we had to move our bags around the available floor area. The service, however, was excellent, with the two gentlemen on duty always very helpful. The location was superb, between Saint Sulpice and Blvd Saint germain, and close to the lovely Luxembourg Gardens. Unfortunately we had a room opposite a noisy Italian restaurant over the weekend.

My husband and I stayed at the Louis II for one night early december 2011. Friendly welcome at reception, charming decor throughout. Small rooms and tiny bathroom but with modern comfort, careful not to drop toiletries in toilet bowl though. Located in a lovely and lively area.
We even got a great recommendation for a restaurant close by. We will be back!
