We travel to Paris a lot--usually a few months out of each year. Normally we stay in an apartment less than a block from this hotel, as it is the ideal location. You are just a block from the Louvre, Tuileries, Blvd Opera, and it is descretely nestled in the wonderfully non-touristy Marche St. Honore. One year, however, the apartment was not available for a second impromptu trip we made to Paris, and we resolutely wanted to stay in the same convenient and safe area. This hotel seemed the ideal solution. I was astonished at how much such a relatively hidden and tiny hotel charged per night, and how, even by Paris standards, small the rooms were. Ours really could hardly accommodate us and our small amount of luggage; and one of us would have to sit on the bed if the other wanted to get by. We went to Monoprix to buy more pillows, as the one offered was not enough, and they could not produce more. I believe there are less expensive choices for well-located hotels, with, if not larger rooms, better appointed and laid out. I will investigate others in the area (not right on St Honore or Place Vendome, as those are always price-inflated), but close by.
