The location really makes this hotel. It is situated right between the Latin Quarter and St. Germain, so you have so much right in the neighborhood- The Sorbonne, Notre Dame, lots of restaurants/bars, etc. Two metro stations very close by and an easy walk to other neighborhoods.

The hotel itself is nothing special; the room was small and definitely no frills whatsoever. The staff was helpful enough but not super on top of things- I checked in about an hour after check in started and they still had to come into the room a couple of times to finish cleaning and whatnot. The biggest pro of this hotel is the location. You're in Paris, though!

The location is perfect - just a few minutes from the Latin quarter and St. Germain des Pres. As a female tarveller, I felt quite safe getting back to the hotel at 4 in the morning. The location is exceptional - it's in the middle of everything! And reaching other popular tourist spots or Gare du Nord or the airport are very easy with RER B. The breakfast was adequate. The rooms were small but good. I had a room on the 5th floor. Although the view was rubbish (back of the hotel somewhere), it was quiet and the beds/pillows were super comfortable. The bathroom was well eqipped but the shower stall was too small. I kept accidently turning off the shower since there was no room to move about while showering. Other than that, it was perfect and I am definitely staying here again!

My mother and I visited Paris last spring. When we arrived at BW La Tour Notre Dame they had overbooked our room, so they sent us to a nearby hotel for one night (Select Hotel), which was okay, but a bit disapointing to have only one night at our favorite hotel. In return they promised us their best room, and I think they were right. It was on top floor with a great view of the cathedral, reasonable sized and cozy room, and a large and great bathroom. The room was nicely and newly decorated, a comfortable bed and a flatscreen TV. So the room was perfect for our stay, we just wished to have the first night there too.

The breakfast is served in the basement and offers great variety with several kinds of cereal, bread, croissants, meats, fresh fruit, eggs, juice, yoghurt etc.

The hotel has a very central location, in walking distance to Notre Dame, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and the rest of the city if you like walking. Otherwise the Metro-station is just around the corner.

Despite of the overbooking we are planning to return to the hotel in autumn. It is definetely the best hotel we have stayed at in Paris out of four different hotels.

This was a very nice hotel in a great location, 2 blocks from the St Michel Metro/RER station and a block off Blvd St. Germain, one block from the Cluny Museum, 2 blocks from the Sorbonne. Rooms were small Eurpoean style but we looked over Rue St. Jacques and with new door heard little of the street noise. Nice closet. Bathroom was newly renovated and fine for our needs. No shower curtain but a seat on the bathtub edge so it was fine. We only ate one breakfast that was included in our first night. Very good with lots of choices but it was €13 and it was cheaper to get a good breakfast at local cafe's for €8 or €8.50 The internet was in the lobby and free. The usual problems with the French key board but the desk staff was helpful. Our only problem was that the sound on the TV for CNN, the only English TV outlet, would not come above a stage whisper despite the set saying that it was very loud. Not a big problem. Just annoying. Would go back any time.
