We stayed here in December 2011 and were happy with the choice. Five minute walk to Notre Dame, easy access to the metro and tour bus routes, surrounded by Latin Quarter cafes and restaurants. Hotel staff were great, helpful throughout. The room had a strange layout, very long and narrow, difficult to get the luggage past the bed. But, we had a balcony overlooking a nice street and with a view of the towers of Notre Dame. Great bathroom with a huge tub too. We've stayed in nicer hotels before, but the price, location, and service were great.

In January 2011 I made internet booking via Best Western for 4 nights at La Tour Notre Dame, commencing 13th April 2011. I just happened to check my credit card account the day before I was due to travel and noticed that a full refund had been credited to my account for this booking. I had received no notification that the booking had been cancelled. When I went on the hotel web site it showed that it was closed for refurbishment. When I rang Best Western booking site they couldn't understand what the problem was as I had received a full refund. True........ but I had nowhere to stay and had not been notified of any cancellation. They eventually offered alternative accommodation in a different area of Paris and at much greater expense. I refused this and eventually managed to find an independant hotel.

On returning from my Paris trip I then found that Best Western had charged my credit card with the cost of a night's accommodation at another of their hotels! I'm still trying to sort this one out.

PS Whilst in Paris I did look up La Tour Notre Dame which had a sign on the door saying "Book your next Best Western stay here". They must be joking - I'll never consider booking a Best Western hotel again.

Not original hotel choice but had to relocate here due to fire at original booking. Good location, across road from Metro station. Rooms on small side with basic furniture, but fairly good rate. Didn't use breakfast area so can't comment on food. Wouldn't be first choice, but reliable back up.

Stayed here for a week in March and it was convenient hub for running around Paris. Located in the 5th arrondissement, we were right next to a major metro line RER to Charles De Gaulle Airpot and Versailles, as well as a five minute walk to the Notre Dame.

The relatively new rooms were tiny but comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff were super nice and helpful. The only drawback was the the drain in our shower was slow to clear. It was a great value and I would definitely stay there again.
