We had booked two apartments--one for my parents and the other for ourselves. We arrived early due to my wife's miscalculation of the time from Gare du Nord station to the hotel, so we ended up storing our luggage and coming back after having a relaxed lunch and some shopping. The staff was very helpful and even managed to get a bottle of champagne for my parents for their wedding anniversary. Originally, we were booked in a back apartment and our first night was terrible--the noise from the delivery trucks had us waking up at 4:30 AM. Management kindly switched out our apartment, so we were able to be on the Seine a floor below my parents. Great service and excellent location. The street in front of the hotel is VERY busy, so be prepared to do some walking to get to a proper intersection for safety's sake. The breakfast was lackluster, and I recommend you go the Carrefour a few blocks away to pick up some breakfast food for the in-room kitchen.
